Jazzlynn’s P.O.V

I woke up to the smell of coffee and my mom screaming.  I got of the bed and went outside. My mom was probably going to be late again.

“Please wash the dishes” She said kissed my head and left. My mom had to go work at six. It was a hospital, meaning, open 24 hours a day.

That was a weird dream I had last night. I have no idea why I wasn’t scared. Probably because it was just a dream, yup that’s it, a dream.

I went to my room grabbed my towel and went to take a shower. I came out and wore the clothes I had layed out yesterday. Shorts and a navy blue polo shirt  and my sneakers. I did my hair straight as always and went to the living room.

The time said 7:45.

“Dad are you taking me to school today?” I asked my dad as I walked outside.

“No sweetheart” He said. I nodded and began to walk to school. Today was finally the day I told Drake. He’s so dreamy.

When I arrived to school I gave my homework emediately to Katy. I went over to Mike.

“Why were you not here yesterday?” I asked.

“I had a hangover”

“That’s awesome, when you die I won’t go to your funeral”

“Well you’re going to die first” He said making a mocking face.

“How come?”

“Are you really going to tell him?” It took me a moment to realize he was talking about Drake.

“Yeah” I said unsurely.

“Go right ahead”

“Fine” I said. I walked over to where Drake was at. His dark brown eyes scanned me over. He looked at me with a raised eyebrow.

“Hey Drake” I said.

“Hey Jazz” He said.

“Umm, I need to talk to you about something”

“Okay” He said and I looked at the other 3 guys.

“Alone” I said and those 3 guys let out Woos and Oh yeahs. I blush a bright red.

“Okay… Guys give me a sec, would ya?” He said a smirk displaying on his face. The guys left and he looked at me. I breathed out.

“I know many girls have said this to you, and I’m sorry if I’m like the rest, but I like you” I said. He had a big smile on his face. After a minute of him not answering I talked.

“Well?”

“I thought the guy was supposed to asked the girl out”

“Yup, you were taking to long” He again stayed shut. The bell rang and I looked at him.

“Just forget it” I told him and left. WOW, I am not even good enough for an answer. I met up with Katy and we went to Pre- calc together. I can’t believe he rejected me. At the bell I went home. I took my clothes of and went to my closet.

There I saw the guy. He had black hair and light blue eyes. Totally drool worthy. Not him the cookies and cream ice cream that he was eating.

“Oh god, you’re real… Just what I needed on this stupid day” I told him. I grabbed clothes and dressed noticing that I was only on undies. I sat next to him in embarrassment.

“Sharing is caring” I said reaching over for the ice cream.

“No is not. If you share with someone, is because you believe they can’t get it themselves, so you are basically calling them handicap or poor. So no I am not sharing with you”

“But I am sharing my room with you”

“That’s because I am at disadvantage”

“Whatever, just give me the stupid ice cream before I go nuts on you” I told him and he handed the cup over. I snatched the spoon away from him and began to eat the ice scream.

“I need clothes” He simply said.

“I don’t have money” I said with a mouthful of ice cream.

“I’ll give it to you”

“No, cause my mother is going to ask where I got it from”

“You could tell her that your friend gave it to you”

“No, not really, I’ll just ask them for money” I told him.

“You needed to say that from the beginning” He said getting away from my face. I hadn’t notice how close our bodies had come.

“So what’s wrong?” He said.

“Nothing”

“When a girl eats ice cream, something must be wrong”

“Well I’m not like other girls”

“You have no idea” He said chuckling.

“What is that supposed to mean?” He just shrugged. I slapped his arm.

“OUCH! What was that for?”

“Not telling me”

“Oh, okay” He said snatching the ice cream away from me. I got up and went to the kitchen. I grabbed the whole bin of ice cream and a spoon and came back into the room. I sat in the closet in need for company. He looked at me. Then at his empty container.

“Sharing is caring” He said and I laughed.
