Flashback- A few hours earlier

Keefe was walking down the pathway to the god's cabins, quietly chuckling to himself about a corny joke that Leo had just told him. He didn't know anything at the time, but I was watching his every move, waiting for the right time to strike. Keefe's laughter stopped when he came near the borderline of the forest. "Come here...." I beckoned silently. Keefe's face went slack and his eyes turned glassy, he slowly trudged towards me. I chuckled to myself, this was yet another easy prey. "I am Nyx.... Embodiment of Night! You are going to serve me until..." I cocked my head to one side," I get what I want..." I finished. "Demigods and elves are coming together, and we don't want that, do we?" I asked, my eyes glaring straight into his soul. "Um-hmm" Keefe responded, slowly nodding his head. I smiled cruelly, "Then, come. Our work has just begun..." 

*in robotic voice* 5 Hours Later

The glass ball that was held in my hand, revealed that the demigods and the elves were sitting around the campfire... laughing. LAUGHING!!!! I snarled quietly to myself and slipped the glass ball into my front pocket. 

"KEEFE!!!" I yelled. 

"Yes, mistress?" said Keefe quietly and kneeled in front of me

"Oh... get up! As you know, we don't want the elves and demigods to mix... Them, together, would cause a great force, greater than me! The embodiment of night! So you must stop them, make them go against each other... Elves on one side and demigods on the other, so they can destroy each other... After that... I guess.... you can have your own miserable life back..." I chuckled," Such a sweet boy, yet such a weak mind.... Now go!" Keefe turned to leave but I suddenly stopped him. "And remember, honey, you're under my control." 

N/A I was tempted to stop there but I realized that it wasn't long enough...

I turned back to my glass ball and saw that Keefe was cutting himself to make it look like somebody tortured him. I laughed cruelly, "Percy Jackson and Sophie Foster.... You have no idea what's coming for you....."
