Third person pov

As they all walked back to Izumis' house for a little more training, (y/n) explained everything that's happened leaving out the part of trying to bring the elrics mother back. She didn't want to get scolding again for the third time that day. After they got to their hotel Ed and (y/n) chose which one of them got the queen sized bed and which got the twin sized beds.

“Why don't you and Ed sleep in the queen sized bed together sis?” Yuki offered to her sister. (Y/n) blushed a very deep shade of red just like Edward. The two looked at each other and quickly shot their gaze to the floor. Yuki smiled and grabbed Alphonses' hand and jumping on her bed. Al got onto his bed and motioned his brother to get some sleep before laying down himself. Ed sighed and went to go change into more comfortable clothes while (y/n) and Yuki went to go get ingredients for dinner. Yuki opened the door into the room and (y/n) followed behind her with the grocery bags and walked straight into the kitchen.

“Oh hey Yuki, (y/n) you're back.” Ed said as he walked out from changing. Yuki tripped her sister and she ended up falling onto him. As (y/n) pushed herself up she had noticed that Ed only had on his loose training pants that he always wore to bed which only caused her to blush. “You okay (y/n? Here let me help you with dinner.” He said smiling at her with the smile she's always loved.

reader's pov

I can't believe Edward wasn't noticing how bad I was blushing because he just stood there smiling like he wanted that to happen. He patted my head which snapped me back into reality and I quickly ran to the bathroom to change cause I had to cook in the morning so I needed a good sleep for that and the painful training tomorrow. As I walked out I quietly slipped into the queens sized bed hoping that I wouldn't wake up Ed. Yeah he's a fast sleeper after a day of training. I could feel him moving in the bed and I expected that I woke him up.

“Hey (y/n)?” His voice sounded so much deeper when he was slightly asleep.

“Y-Yeah Edward?” I rolled over to face him only to see that we weren't that far apart. I could feel his hot breath on my lips and the heat of his body keep the cold out from the blankets, I loved it but not as much as I love him. I would never tell him though I was to shy and worried that he wouldn't feel the same.

“Uh d-do you mind if I cuddle with y-you, just for tonight?” His cheeks lite up the small area around us and so did mine. I smiled softly and moved a bit closer to him so he could.

“No I-I wouldn't mind it Ed.” He smiled and slid his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. I could hear his heart beating faster and faster with each breath he took. I hadn't noticed he moved his head down until he whispered something in my ear.

“I love you (y/n).” I froze and looked p at him in disbelief but all I saw in his eyes was love and desire. I smiled and could feel my face heat up slightly.

“I-I love you too Ed.” I looked down blushing extremely dark. He took my chin and lifted my head up to look in his eyes. He was blushing very hard as he slowly moved his head down to mine. I slowly closed my eyes as his lips met mine in a warm and soft kiss. He pulled away and kissed my cheek.

“Goodnight.” He smiled as he rolled over, pulling me onto his chest so we could both fall asleep.

“Night Ed.” I slowly fell into the world of dreams and finally found sleep.
