Chapter 9

Lusts' pov

“Sloth have you found those two teens? You know we need them to make the philosophers stone soon.” I can't believe that our master doesn't trust me to go with her to watch over them so they stay on the right path. I wonder how our new homunculus is doing on that island? That idiotic teacher of theirs is so blunt. I can't believe she put them there, wrath will have so much fun with them. I glared at sloth and she looked a little, sad.

“Yes, I have found them but something happened we had not expected.....” She went back to her normal serious self and I was shocked to finally see her show a human emotion. I hadn't realized she was now standing right in front of me. I jumped slightly when she waved her hand in front of my face.

“What happened between them?” I asked slightly interested by this information. She had a pained look and from that I knew this was going to be bad and damage our plan. I don't think she remembers much about the Elric brothers and the (l/n) sisters and their past together.

“They did it that's what! My little Edward had sex with little (y/n)! I'm devastated about this!” She was actually crying right in front of me. I was shocked but I didn't realize I had pulled her into a hug. She cried and cried into my shoulder and clung to me not wanting to leave the hug. I didn't know that human emotions were this strong on anyone, even us.

“I-I'm sorry sloth. I didn't know they would go THAT far.” I hugged her slightly tighter. She pulled away after a while and dried her eyes. I smiled weakly and heard Envy come down the stairs. I gave sloth my 'don't tell anyone else about this or what happened' look and she nodded. Envy gave us both a questioning look but shock it off.

“What's the update on the two pipsqueaks sloth?” He asked in the same rude tone more than ever. There has been MANY times when I've wanted to slap that smirk off his face. He looked over to me and gave me the same look as always.

“No change. They are still on their normal routine, hunting, fishing, looking for wood.” She looked like her old self. I guess I could start calling her Trisha if she doesn't mind. I glared at Envy and with that he left us alone.

“Hey, you wouldn't mind if I called you by your old name would you?” I looked over at her and she smiled softly. I walked over to the door before she grabbed my arm. I stopped and turned towards her.

“No Lust I wouldn't mind at all.” She smiled brightly at me and I returned the smile. I nodded and walked off after she let go of me. I stopped at the front doors of our little home.

“We'll keep that little info between us alright, Trisha?” I asked before I walked out the doors.

Edwards pov

I woke up to see that (y/n) was still in my arms sleeping. She seemed to be comfy the way she was so I didn't move. I could feel the urge to sleep again but I tried to fight it off while I could. I couldn't help but smile at the thought of what happened a while ago. I can't believe she wanted to do it again. I felt my eyes close slowly and drifted back asleep.

Sloth's pov

I can't believe my little boy would do such a thing! I like that (y/n) girl a lot but what she did, I don't think I could forgive her for that. Why am I feeling all these emotions? I think I don't need the philosophers stone to be human, I am from my memories and that's why I have these emotions towards those kids. I wonder what would happen if I left with Lust to try and live a normal life?

“I guess I'll never know that. I guess I'll get back to work now.” I left the house and went back to the island.

Readers' pov

I woke up to see that Ed wasn't laying beside me anymore. I sat up and stretched a bit until I felt a arm wrap around my waist making me stand up. I turned around a bit only to see Ed smiling. I blushed and quickly moved to get out of his grip. I could hear him whimper slightly and I just giggled at him which caused me to go outside for some air. I hadn't noticed but there was a little boy standing right in front of me half way through my walk.

“Oh hello. Who are you little one?” I looked at the strange boy. He had a scar on his right arm that looked like a fox had bit him. He smiled at me and held out his left hand.

“I'm Wrath, nice to meet you. What's your name miss?” I smiled and took his hand. He looked a bit shocked at this which caused me to pull him close so I could inspect him. I smirked and I knew I was right.

“I'm (y/n) and I know you're a homunculus little wrath. It's alright, I'm nice and won't try to hurt you.” I smiled kindly to him and he seemed even more shocked at what I had just told him. I could tell he'd been here for sometime and was slightly happy that someone was being nice to him.

“Y-you're different then the other three.” Other three? Who are they, what did they do to him? I stood up straight and let go of his hand. I didn't expect him to hold onto mine though, it was like he didn't want me to leave without him. “Please don't leave me! Take me with (y/n) I'm so lonely with a friend!” He begged me and I just couldn't say no to him. He hugged me around my waist and wouldn't let go like he thought I was going to vanish into thin air. I kneeled down to him and placed a hand on his cheek

“Don't worry wrath, I won't leave you here on this island. You can come back with me and my boyfriend and we'll take care of you. I promise.” He smiled and hugged me again. I laughed a bit and hugged him back. I don't know why but I felt like this kid wanted someone to care for him. I stood up and he took my hand causing me to smile. I lead him all the way back to our 'camp' and we talked all the way there. Ed had just walked out of the house as we came into sight.

“(y/n) what is he doing with you!?” Ed seemed shocked and angry, it was kind of frighting. Wrath seemed shocked and tried to attack Ed but I pulled him back. They both looked at me shocked and then glared at one another.

“You two know each other? Wrath please, calm down I won't let him hurt you. I won't let anyone hurt you, not ever.” He calmed down and clung to my slightly torn up shirt. Ed just looked at me with shock and confusion. I walked up to him and placed a hand on his cheek just like I did to wrath. “Ed I know he's a homunculus but he's lonely and wants friends and someone to care and love him just like I do you.” Ed smiled and wrath saw that he trusted me.

Wraths' pov

I can't believe that metal boy was here with this sweet girl! He won't take her away from me, not ever! She's my friend and like a mother to me and I won't allow him to hurt her! I went to kill him but (y/n) held me back and looked at us both.

“You two know each other? Wrath please, calm down I won't let him hurt you. I won't let anyone hurt you, not ever.” I did as I was told but I clung onto her shirt never wanting to let go of her. She walked up to the pipsqueak and placed one of her hands on his cheek just like she did with me earlier. “Ed I know he's a homunculus but he's lonely and wants friends and someone to care and love him just like I do you.” I can't believe she knew all of this about me in just the short amount of time we knew each other. I looked up the metal head and could see him smiling at her. He trusted her no matter how bad things got, just like me. I hope the others don't get mad at me for going off the plan. I think I like (y/n). I wish she was my mom.

“Hey mom?” Ed and (y/n) looked me shocked. I wonder why they were shocked about me calling her mom?

Readers' pov

“Hey mom?” I looked down at wrath extremely shocked. I didn't think he would call me mom in front of Ed and not think we wouldn't be shocked. I smiled and kneeled down beside him along with Ed.

“Yes Wrath?” I tried to sound calm and happy but it sounded like I was surprised and curious. He smiled at me and Ed hugging us both. I hugged back but Ed hesitated a bit before hugging him back too.

“Can I live with you two?” I smiled and closed my eyes. I hugged him close and Ed ruffled his hair a bit. I pulled back and nodded to him. All three of us walked inside and fell asleep.
