OKAY HUMAN BEANS!!! HERE IT IS!!!! YAY!!!!
I suck in a quick breath that rattles through my teeth. ''Sorry sweetie'' The lady doing my hair tells me, But it is pretty clear that she indeed is not sorry for attacking my head with a hair brush.
Today my aunt will marry her fiance (My soon to be uncle in law). Right now I am sitting on a chair at BayLee salon, Letting this lady attack my scalp with her hair tools. In three hours I will be walking down the aisle with my sisters arm in mine. In three hours and one minute my aunt will be walking down the aisle in her wedding gown. In four hours my aunt and then uncle in law will be kissing.
I look around the salon trying to find my aunt while being told off by the hairy lady. Heh hairy lady. My eyes catch my aunts, who is letting a very pretty young lady do her makeup. I wink at her and she winks back, Earning a pointed look from her makeup stylist.
THREE HOURS LATER.
My heart thuds heavily in my chest as the piano starts up, Signalling it was time for me to start to walk. I reach around and grab my aunts hand and squeeze it gently, Nodding to the doorman that I am ready. My sister links her arm with mine and the doors open slowly. The music changes to a song that I have never heard and instead of being worried about the mix up I am put in a trance, The music swirling around me. I smile brightly as Tanya and I begin walking down the aisle to the tune of the music, Gliding gracefully and smiling at all out family and friends. Too soon we reach the end and we step to the side and turn to face the way we came just in time to see my aunt enter the room. The fairylights hang low and cast shadows on her face, Making it look angular and beautiful. My aunt glides down the aisle to the wedding march and I notice her eyes are watering but her smile just gets bigger until she is flashing perfect white teeth. The white lilies she holds close to her chest give off a sweet and light smell as she comes closer, Reaching the end of the aisle.
''I do''
Cheers break out in the crowd as my aunt and now uncle grin at eachother and kiss, Earning more cheers from the happy crowd. They break appart and stand still for a moment before taking eachothers hand and running down the aisle while the crowd showers them in rice. Ten minutes later the last of the crowd, including me and my sister, leave the room and head down the hall to the doors that lead outside. Tanya was the one who decided to have the after party outside, Saying that it would look perfect just as the sun is setting and she was right. The sky is a pretty purple and the low hanging fairy lights give off shadows that dance on the white tables and chairs. Near the small stage at the back there is a small wooden dance floor where some couples are dancing to slow, romantic tunes. A waitress around Tanyas age offers me champagne from her silver tray that I accept gratefully. The champagne bubbles down my throat and warms my insides, even though the night is quite surprisingly warm. The music changes to a strange song that makes me sway to its almost hypnotic beat. I spin around and notice a flash of bright green in the bushes in the darkest part of the courtyard. I squint at the source of the light and notice a figure of a boy, Motioning for me to join him in the bushes. I must have had more champagne than I thought because I find myself swaying towards the figure, Stumbling slightly on the now unevven ground.
