Chapter 5- the hospital

Thomas's P.O.V.

I'm not sure what to do. She's unconscious. I know I need to take her to the hospital. If Matt and Allen hadn't messed with her she would be fine. I really don't care if Anthony lets them go to her now she's unconscious and I need to find help.

"Let them through," I say to Anthony slowly. He slowly let down his arms. Allen rushes to Maria's side, but Matt just walks away. I knew he was a douche. Allen is just... different. I let Anthony watch over Maria while Allen is sitting there with her. Time to find help.

I walk outta the band room looking around for Mr. Chad. I'm not sure what to do exactly. I know I need to find someone. Jess. Her brother. He has to be here.

I walk out to the cafeteria where all the chairs are for the audience. I spot him with her parents. I can't tell Jess while her parents are there. I gotta find Maria's phone.

I run back into the band room. Allen, Anthony, and Maria are no where in sight. Great this is just what I need. I walk over to where she passed out, her wristlet was laying there on the floor. I pick it up and open it. In there is her phone, her iiPod and a pair of headphones. I can hear sirens in the distance. Where'd those come from? I not letting Allen be the one to take her to the hospital.

I walk outta the band room and look around. I the office is Allen, Anthony, and Maria. Finally I found them. I hand Anthony her wristlet and then kneel down next to Maria. Allen is on the other side of her holding her hand mumbling a bunch of shit.

"Anthony, go to the cafeteria and see if her family left or not," I say. Her family doesn't usually stay for stuff, they drop her off and then sit and socialize, then leave. Anthony stands up and slowly hands me her wristlet again. He looks down at he then over to Allen. I nod slightly giving him an okay, and then he walks away.

"This is all my fault," Allen cries. Wait he's crying?? This is a first.

"Allen, why do you care so much?" I ask quietly. He hurt her so much yet here he is crying over her.

"I had to make her hate me so she could move on and be happy," he cries as Anthony walks in.

"Allen I think you need to go," Anthony says to him, "you have Alex now."

Allen nods a little but doesn't budge. I look up at a Anthony, he's giving Allen this intense glare. He's got to stop being so protective. Maria hates when people are so protective of her.

"You can stay for now," I say to Allen, then turn to Anthony and ask, "who called the ambulance?"

"He did," he nod towards Allen.

"Did her family leave?" I ask.

Anthony sighs, "They always do."

Great, I think to myself. I can see the ambulance lights coming up the street. They aren't gonna let any of us ride to the hospital with her. We aren't blood family.

The ambulance pulls up to the door by the band room. Allen scopes up Maria and hands her to the emts. They're asking questions about what happened, but I can't hear them. I'm so out of it. I'm worried about Maria. That have an oxygen mask on her. I feel Anthony's hand on my arm. I shake myself outta of my daze and look at him.

"We can go with her," he says.

I look at the ambulance, I see Allen climbing in. I feel Anthony pulling me over. I step in and grab Maria's hand. I hope she'll be okay.

Hospital:

When we arrive at the hospital, they pull Maria's genre outta the ambulance. The three of us boys step out and go into the waiting area. I don't know what's wrong with me but all I can think about is Maria. I'm so worried. Why did we even let Allen come with us?

It's been twenty minutes since they took Maria. Why hasn't anybody come out yet? I'm seriously gonna be sick if no one comes out yet. My nerves need calmed. I just stare down the hallway to where the doctors took her. Suddenly I see a doctor walking towards us. He brings bad news I can tell...
