Chapter 9

ALICE POV. ~

I woke up with the sound of giggles, soon enough I realized I was hugging Demi with my head in the crock of her neck, "Morning sleepy hugger" Demi said and I started blushing, I let go of her really fast, "sorry is just an habit," I say and get up heading to the bathroom "hey its ok, really no problem, you're cute." with that I started blushing again, harder this time. I just take a shower and put on a nice outfit cause today me and madison start going to school, I'm so nervous, I never get bullied before it's just that I am Alice Player Lovato, I mean, people know me a lot, I was the owner of youtube and google, I have won a LOT of dance competitions including the nationals, and now I'm Demi Lovato's sister, I mean, I can get a lot of attention because of these things and I don't like having attention except by being on stage.
I get downstairs and Demi and Madison are already ready and waiting for me so I just grab an apple to eat on the way.
"So... what is school like?" I ask while Demi is driving, I'm by Demi's side and Mad is on the backseat. "It's just school" madison says, "I mean, in Brazil we don't walk to other classroom, the teachers do, and it starts at 7AM to 12AM, and everybody have the same classes, we can't choose what to take." I explain. "wow, that's different, anyways, when we get there I'll show you around" madison says and I get a lot more nervous, "t-thanks" I still don't trust her 100%, I think Demi notices cause she puts a hand on my knee and keeps driving.
When we get there Madison gets out of the car and go to talk with her friends, leaving me and Demi, "I know you're nervous" Demi says, "pfff, I'm not," I say, lies, all lies darling "yes you are, you're not an open book Alice but I can read you like one, you are a lot like me when I was your age..." damn. "anyways I gotta go or I'm gonna be late bye... Hey I don't know when I get out of here..." I say embarrassed "oh, 2PM, bye, make friends, have fun, not too much, I'm driving you to your dance classes today okay?" I smirk "okay I'm sure you wanna talk with Kalani... or her family," I tease her "no I leave Kalani for you," she says and I blush way too hard, with that she starts laughing and I get out of the car and head to the principal's, I mean, I try to find the principal, the bell rings and I still don't know where to go so I just keep walking when an old lady says "hey where are you going?!? you should be in class young lady!!" jesus she is so annoying, "yeah I wanted to, but I can't find the principal" I say with an attitude, "why do you have to find the principal?" "I'm new." jesus can't she just leave me or help me? what's this 21 questions? "come with me I'm taking you there" finally. I follow her and she takes me to the principal office, "You must be Alice... Why are you late girl?" he asks, "I coudn't find you" "Oh, anyways, here are your schedule, your first class is English okay?" "Thank you ma'am." I said and he make a serious face, "Where are you from?" he asks, "Brazil," I said, "Oh, just letting you know that you can only say ma'am to ladies ok?" my cheeks just turned red and he smiles a bit before telling me my way to the class "thanks" I said and head to the class. I knock on the door and walk in, a pretty woman turns to me. "Can I help you?" she asks, "I'm Alice Player... I'm new here." I said, "oh yes yes they told me you were coming," she said "yeah you are Ms Ma...kin..." "Mckinney," she corrects me "sorry," "take a seat take a seat honey, but introduce yourself to the class before," and she says a little louder "Class today we have a new student" and points to me I said "Hey I'm Alice," and went to take a seat, "Okay, so today we're playing something like 21 questions since I'm new and don't know you guys a lot, you will tell us your name, what you like to do and what you wanna do in the future, starting with Alice since she's new. Go" I admit I'm a little nervous, "I'm Alice Player, I dance and I wanna be a professional dancer." I said, "Aren't your parents the owners of youtube and google?" a blond girl asks "kind of haha" I get uncomfortable, "Oh my god you are Alice Player!" a boy says "Yeah, and she's Demi lovato's baby sister, and she is THE dancer," a girl says, I kept just nodding and everybody shuts up, oh that awkward silence... "Okay so I guess we have a little star here, anyways, keep going you guys," Ms Mckinney says and the class keeps going the little game until the bell rings, until 2PM everything went great beside I were late to a lot of classes cause I keep getting lost, and a lot of guys flirted with me but yeah I'm not interested.
I was with Demi in the car for Madison to show up, when she finally did she just get in the car and asks "So Alice, did you liked?" I was so mad at her, she just left me get late to every single class and asks me if I liked, no thank you but I'm ignoring her, I just turn up the radio and look at the window all way back home, when we finally got there I have 2 hours to take a shower, eat, do my homework and get do the studio, (not demi's studio, but my dance studio) so I rushed in straight to the bathroom, I took too muck time at the shower so I get downstairs with my homework in my hand and eat while doing homework, when Dallas comes in "Why the hell are yo..." "I have dance in like 50 minutes shhhh I'm trying to do my homework" I said and get back to work. Right after I rushed Demi to the car and she started driving, yes I changed in the car, but she didn't looked, when we get there I ran to my class just in time. Everybody was starting to stretch so I joined them. Soon enough Alexa walks in. "Good morning girls! So I have some explains to do. You guys are my competitive team. Everybody here made sure you guys are here to compete and win and I'm helping you guys to get to the nationals and winning, and in the future being what you girls wanna be, a Broadway dancer, a famous choreographer, I don't know what you guys dream about, but if it's in the dance world I'm helping you, I have a lot of students who make their dreams come true, but they had to work hard. I don't like tears but I don't know why they happen a lot on my classes. Time, dedication and hard work will get you guys to the top." It was true. I knew this studio and this teacher and hell yes she is a star maker. And guess what, I have time, dedication, and I'm a hard worker, I'm gonna get to the top. "SO LETS GO!! I see you guys are already warmed up so today we're improving your flexibility, you guys take classes mondays, wednesdays and fridays, but tuesdays, thursdays and saturdays you girls are going to be here too, rehearsing, sundays are your break but be a responsible dancer and at least stretch a little. Lets go, I wanna you girls on the floor, put up your right leg..." and the class goes on like this. By the middle she separated us in pairs and I was with Kalani. She had to pick my leg and force my extensions and mine were after my head but Alexa wanted more, so she took Kalani's place and started pushing my leg, "Alice I'm a professional, I'm not hurting your leg, you're gonna be fine, breath and men up cause you can do more." she said firmly and everybody was looking at me and a tear escaped my eye, "GROW UP ALICE YOU ARE BETTER THAN THIS CMON I WANNA YOUR LEG EXTENSION DOING MORE THAN THIS" she screamed at me, I think she screams a lot with her students and I understand but I was in so much pain... she held up a little bit more and let my leg down slowly so it wont injury me. "Okay we're over for today, bye guys, I don't see any reason for these tears Alice and Paige, grow up and stretch more, see you guys tomorrow, we are going to rehearse." and with that she leaves and everybody begins to talk and leave but I'm still crying a little and I don't wanna go out there crying cause Demi is gonna think is a big deal but it's not. I don't cry, except over dance, if I forget a solo, or if I'm in pain like today, I cry with no shame. "Are you ok?" Paige asks, she cried a little too and I think Alexa has an eye on us, "yes thank you, I'm better now, what about you?" I ask, "I'm fine, I'm a big baby and Alexa knows it, I'm to sensitive, haha" the second she said it Kalani rushes in and hugs me really tight "I am so sorry Alice I should've push your leg more so Alexa wouldn't need to do herself, she is so mean, oh my god I'm sorry" and she keeps hugging me, and I don't hate it, considering we're still in our dance clothes I don't hate it at all. "I'm okay Kalani, really, it will help me to become more flexible." she smiled at me and paige said "hey girls my mom is waiting for me, I gotta go, bye K, bye Alice" "bye paige" we both said and I put a dress over my dance clothes, so did Kalani, and we get out, when I looked around I saw Demi with this girl "Look your sister is talking to my sister!" Kalani said, oh, so this is her sister. Then they started kissing! Damn Demi is fast!!! "Look like they are doing more than just talking" I said and we started laughing, her laugh is just so cute. "I see," she said and we started laughing again.
