Chapter 21

ALICE'S POV. ~

The whole ride was silent but I knew Demi wanted to have a talk later. We got home and she gave me the "come here" look and walked in her room, soon enough I walked in too and she closed the door "why didn't you tell me you had hemophilia?!?" she said a little angry "you didn't asked" I said sitting on the edge of the bed "of course I didn't asked I didn't even knew this existed" she said "chill, no big deal" I said "cmon Alice, first you don't tell us you have Alexandria and now you don't tell us you have hemophilia? Don't you trust me?" she said a little sad "yes I do, you just don't have to know everything about my damn life" I said angrily "ok then, just don't come crying to me when another problem shows up" she said and walked in the bathroom. I just sighed and laid on my belly with my face in the sheets. I mean, she's doing everything to me and she just wanted to know if I'm healthy. I got up and walked silently in the bathroom and she is taking a shower with her back turned to me. I sat on the bathtub looking at my hands and after a while I heard her gasp "jesus I didn't knew you were in here, you scared the shit out of me" she said with her hand in her chest and I simply said "Anger". She looked at me confused "Anger, it's actually getting worse I don't know why, but I just get angry at where I feel home. I don't know why, the doctor said this" I said and she looked at me even more confused "my problems, Demi, Alexandria, hemophilia and Anger issues. Just these three" I said and she was a little shocked "oh" was all she managed to say, I just gave her a little fake smile and get out of the bathroom so she could finish her shower. I laid again, in my belly with my face in the sheets, and after a while I felt two strong arms lifting me up, I jumped a little cause I was almost falling a sleep, "sorry, I didn't meant to scare you" Demi said "it's ok" I said, never looking at her. "what's wrong?" she asked "oh besides I'm crazy sick freak? nothing, everything is great" I said "you're not a crazy sick freak, you're just special. I mean, hello, you know a lot of my mental issues and I can tell you, there is a little more I don't tell the media, the point is, normal is boring, we just need to know what makes you special so we can fix what's wrong" she said looking in my eyes and I just nodded not trusting my voice. We laid there doing nothing, just thinking, when my phone started ringing, I picked up without looking who it was "Hello" I said "Alice this is Alexa, look, Paige was going to perform a solo today but she sprained her ankle, so you are performing in her place." she said "o-ok" I said already getting nervous, I mean, it's my first performance under Alexa's name I can't let her down "this is a very important performance cause there is gonna be a hollywood agent looking for young talent there, and the greatest dance teachers, some friends and enemies of mine, so you have to be nothing but awesome, pick up everything you have and come here in the studio. You have 15 minutes, bye" she said and I didn't bother answering, I just trowed the phone on the bed and ran to my closet to pick all my make up and hair stuff "DEMI I HAVE THE MOST IMPORTANT PERFORMANCE OF MY LIFE TODAY I HAVE TO BE AT THE STUDIO IN 15 MINUTES" I screamed going trough my stuff "here" I said to myself and started looking for my hairspray, everything was still packed cause I haven't performed anything since I stepped here in US "what do you want" Demi said putting a jeans "MY HAIR SPRAY" I said and she said "you can borrow mine, is in my closet" she said and when I walked in her closet, jesus, everything she needed to perform was here, all her dresses, even her lalaland dress was here, I just ran take the hairspray and ran back taking my HUGE bag with me "I'm ready" I said "can I drop you there, and come here so I can tell everybody and we'll be there like an hour before you go on stage?" she asked while running to the car with me "yeah of course" I said a little out of breath. We got there quickly and Alexa helped with my stuff "hey, you have 50 minutes to learn the solo, and 50 minutes to do hair and make up, and 30 minutes to stretch and put your outfit and then you're on stage got it?" Alexa said "yes" I said firmly and she said "I have other girls performing so Paige is showing you your solo and at the end you're doing it for me so I can correct any flaws, good luck, room C" she said and I ran to the room C, the girls were there with her moms, everybody with worried looks "FINALLY YOU'RE HERE" Chloe said while Paige took my hand "Look, you're doing a lyrical routine called angel, it's very emotional." she said and I nodded "you start with a right leg kick followed by three pirouettes and..." she started showing me the solo, and when we finished we showed Alexa and she nodded before rushing backstage and I think I was doing it right, Paige thanked me and I ran to the dress room so I could do hair and make up, Demi was there but she had no idea of how to make a dance make up or hair so Chloe and Kalani helped me, Chloe doing my make up and Kalani my hair while I helped them. "OUTCH" I scremed "only one performance, deal with it" Kalani said putting pins in my hair. My family just stood there shocked by how fast we were, soon enough I was ready and ran to the bathroom to change. My outfit was a little white top and a little white skirt with white shorts inside. After a while Alexa walked in "GIRLS" she said a little loud and everybody looked at her "Good luck to everybody who is gonna perform, Alice, everything great?" she asked and I nodded "great, Mackenzie I don't wanna see the tears, suck it up, I will be at the audience. Chloe and Paige, help Alice stretch since she doesn't have a lot of time, good luck" and with that everybody started rushing and Paige and Chloe started pulling my legs and soon enough I was all ready, running my solo in my mind at the corner of the room. After I ran it five times I walked towards my family. Demi, Dianna and Dallas were there while Eddie and Maddie were at the audience. "nervous" Dallas asked "freaking out" I said she giggled, after that everybody was being called backstage so I just walked there with the girls while my family and the moms stayed behind talking. Jesus I better don't mess anything up.
