Over the night, neither Po nor Tigress could get some sleep, which wasn't surprising, but, they both had a lot on their minds. Tigress was wondering if Po was awake when he said those things, and Po was still trying to wrap his mind around what just happened. The hole in the wall left both of them wanted to say something to the other, and surprisingly, Tigress was the first to finally say something.

"Po, I'm uh, sorry, about clawing you in the face." She couldn't believe how stupid that sounded.

"Um...ok...?"

"And, also, I heard what you were saying, that is, before you fell into my room..." At this, Po's eyes popped back open. She heard him, she knew. Oh shit...was all he could think. "Please tell me you were thinking in your sleep again, not that, that wouldn't be good news, I quess...I think...maybe."

Po couldn't believe what he was hearing, "um...I...I don't think I was taking in my sleep."

Tigress laid there in shock, and a little anger, but yet, at the same time, some happiness fell over her. She definitely had no interest in the Panda, so why was she feeling this way? "Is that why you were looking at me, like you were?"

"Huh?"

"... Wow, I thought we might have a semi-peaceful moment. When you finally got up, and you started staring there."

"I was?"

"Yes, you stupid oaf."

"Oh, I quess I was spaced out or something. But - oh god, that came out wrong. What I meant was, I was lost in thought, I quess. So, I didn't realise that I was, er...yeah ." Po didn't want to lie to Tigress, but he was sort of looking at her like that before he spaced out.

"Well, there's some good news tonight."

"Heh heh, yeah, sure..."

"Well, we should get to sleep, well, I should at least. I doubt you have to be very alert to be my living punching bag." Tigress just cracked what was probably the first joke she ever cracked.

Both of them laughed, amazingly. Tigress' mentioning of this made him realise that she would kick his ass even more than usual tomorrow. "Well, um, good night then, since I'll just lay awake, maybe a not-so alert living punching bag is better for you." That was not a joke, and Po got no response. He hoped that Tigress was already asleep, but the chances were low.
