Chapter 22

The day of sangeet.....

In the hall,

All the elders were present there.

Dadi- Arre yeh sab bachein kaha gaye.

Jhanvi- Pata nahin maa ab tak toh aa jana chahiye.

Nisha- Main jaa kar dekhti hun.

"Koi jarurat nahin hum aa gaye"

All of them turned towards the voice. They saw obros with rishi were coming down the stairs with huge smiles on their face. All of them were wearing Royal blue colour attire as they decided early.

Dadi- Lo aa gaye sab ladke.

Sid- Humen toh aana hi thaa dadi.

Sid went to dadi and hugged her. She kissed him on his forehead.

Ru- Aap humen bhul gaye.

Dadi- Are ye kya baat hui. Tum sab ki shaadi thodi na hai.

Rudra made a puppy face.

Om- Duffer teri shaadi main tujhe bhi milegi.

Ru- Pehle aapka toh number aa jaaye O.

Rishi- Hna om Rudy sahi keh raha hai. Hai na Shivaay jiju.

Shiv- Hna bilkul...

Om- Yahan par meri nahin Sid ki shaadi hone waali hai.

Dadi- Arre khotiyon tum logon ne meri bachiyon ko dekha hai.

Shiv- Nahin dadi anika toh kab ki room se chali gayi thi yeh keh kar ki woh mallika ki room main ready ho jaayegi. Aur toh aur mujhe hi shivi ko ready karna pada.

Om- Hna aur hum main se kisine bhi unko nahin dekha.

Dadi- Acha....pata nahin itni der kyun lag rahi hai.

Suddenly all the lights went off.

Dadi- Are yeh lights ko kya ho gaya.

Shiv- Aap rukiye dadi main dekh kar aata hun.

Suddenly a light falled focusing on the girls..

All of the guests and family members looked towards them. The girls were slowly coming down the stairs.

Omkara's eyes spots gauri. She wore a royal blue long frock. She was looking like an angel. He couldn't stop staring at her.

Rudy went to om.

Ru- O....humara toh itna jyaada grand entry nahin hua thaa.

Om didn't respond.

Ru- O.....

Om didn't respond again. Rudy questioned rishi by gesture who was standing near him.

Rishi went to omkara and placed his hand on om's shoulder.

Rishi- Om meri behen GAURI kaisi lag  hai.
Om- Bohot khoobsurat. Bilkul ek angel ki tarah.

Ru- Really O.

Om- Hmm.

Ru- Ab toh mujhe pakka yakeen ho gaya hai ki kuch kuch hota hai. Hai na O.

Om- Kya?

Ru- Kuch nahin agar aapka taadna khatam ho gaya toh sangeet shuru karein.

Om- (embarrassed) Yeah sure.

Rishi- Waise mujhe stage par jaana hoga.

Rishi went to the stage and joined gauri who was his partner in host.

Rishi- (to gauri) Waise tumne acha nahin kiya.

Gauri- Kya?

Rishi- Tum girls ki itni grand entry woh bhi lights ke saath aur humara.....

Gauri- Popat ban gaya. Tumhe intezam kar lena chahiye thaa rishi.

Rishi- Kaash maine kiya hota.

Gauri- Ok ab jyaada mat ro. Let's start the sangeet.

Rishi- Ok.

They both went to the center of the stage. Instantly gauri's gaze fell on Om who was smiling seeing her. Om was aware of her stage phobia. He only forced gauri to became the host. Om gave gauri a assured smile. She smiled back. She took a deep breath and starts.....

Gauri- Good evening all. Main hun aapki host Gauri.

Rishi- Aur main hun rishi.

Gauri- Jaise ki aapko pata hai ki aaj humari pyaari di Mallika di ki sangeet hai...

Rishi- Toh aaj ki shaam hum aap sabko welcome karte hai.

Gauri- Toh sangeet ka pehla performance dene aa rahe hai.....dulhan ki badi behen Anika di.....

Rishi- Aur dulha ki bade bhai Shivaay jiju.... Give them a big round of applause.

All the guests clapped. Shivaay offered his hand to anika. Anika blushed and took his hand and they made their way to the stage. They start their dance in janam janam.

Gauri came down the stage and stood beside om.

Gauri- Main jyaada nervous toh nahin lag rahi thi na.

Om- Bilkul nahin.

Gauri- Is that okay?

Om- Yeah.

They stood with each other and enjoyed the dance.
