Mine

Sophie's pov

Hayes an I were watching paranormal activity. "soph," I heard him say nervously. "yeah?" I asked looking up at him. He leaned in. before I knew it our lips were moving in sync. we both pulled away breathless and smiling, our foreheads were pressed against each other. "sorry I just couldn't resist." Hayes said blushing. I touched his cheek and said "its ok neither could I." I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. "My dads coming!" I whisper. I scoot over to the other side of the bed. my door opens and my dad walks in. "I thought I told you to leave your door open," he said. "sorry dad but I forgot." I replied. "well I'm going to the store honey, ill be back in an hour." he said. I nodded and said "ok dad, bye." he walked out the door but didn't close it. I closed it and say back on the other side of the bed. Hayes scoot to my side of the bed so I put my head on his shoulder. after a while the movie ended. My dad still wasn't home and it had been two hours. I got worried so I texted him.

S:where are you?

D: at Monica's house I'm going to stay here tonight. see you tomorrow night.

S: but tomorrow is moms birthday!

D:I know but I have to move on bye now.

I burst into tears and Hayes hugged me tight. "hey, what's wrong?" he asked "my dad is staying the night at his new girlfriends house and tomorrow is my moms birthday!" I managed to choke out. "is he cheating on your mom?" Hayes asked sounding worried. "no, my mom died a couple years ago, that's why tomorrow is so special." I said. "I'm so sorry, I didn't know." he replied. "its ok" I said. I couldn't stop crying , I can't believe my dad doesn't care anymore. Hayes lifted my chin up so I could see him. our eyes locked and Hayes leaned in. Our lips crashed against each other and we kissed. The kiss was slow and passionate. after about a minute we both pulled away. "its ok ill be here tomorrow, since its Saturday." he said "thank you so much Hayes" I said. "soph?" Hayes asked. "yeah hayes?" I replied. "I uhhhh," he said nervously. "you what?" I asked while smiling. " I l-love y-you." he stuttered. "I love you too Hayes." I said while hugging him. "I have a question." Hayes said. "what?" I asked. "will you make me the happiest guy ever and be mine?" he asked while blushing. "of course!" I said. I pressed my lips against his. he seemed a little surprised at first but soon we were in sync. The kiss got a little heated and Hayes flipped me over so he was laying on top of me. He started to move his hands up my shirt. "Hayes no," I said breathless. "I'm not ready for that" I say. "sorry I got carried away." he said. After that we decided to go to sleep. in the morning I got up and made waffles. Hayes woke up and went downstairs with me. he sat at the table and ate the waffles. after an hour of eating and watching tv I decided To go to the cemetery. "wanna go with me Hayes?" I asked he nodded. I went up to my room and got dressed. I grabbed my two penny boards and offered Hayes one. he grabbed it and we started skating. when we got there it was really quiet. once we got to her grave I took one look at it and started crying. "she was very beautiful." Hayes said while looking at her picture. "you look just like her." he said. I blushed and we decided to go to Starbucks to get hot cocoa. when we got there we walked in hand in hand. "soph I'm gonna go to the bathroom." Hayes said. "ok please hurry I don't wanna be alone for too long." I said. he nodded and walked off. I went outside to get some fresh air and heard footsteps behind me. I turned around and faced the "popular" girls from school. the leader, Mia, pushed me against the wall and had my arms pinned above my head. "look who we have here," she said smirking. "ew it's that freak from science!" one of the girls said. "oh no I'm so scared of you clowns." I said smirking. all three girls got really quiet. "well I just wanted to let you know that if you come close to Hayes again I will hurt you! Hayes is mine not yours!" Mia said. "Um Mia I think you better get your facts right because Hayes is my boyfriend," I said smirking. Just then Hayes walked out side and the girls let go of me. "hey Hayes!" Mia said in a flirty way. "do I know you?" Hayes asked sounding disgusted. "ugh!" they all said and walked off angrily. Mia came back and said "thanks for they hot cocoa babe," she took both of the hot chocolates and walked off. Hayes just stood there with his mouth open. "come on babe lets go." Hayes said while taking my hand. we got on our penny boards and started skating. "lets go to my house," Hayes said. "yo can meet Nash" "ok as long as its warm in there" I said. "my room is," he said winking. I laughed and hit his arm. "ouch!" he said playfully. we started skating to his house and I was thinking 'oh my god! Hayes is mine! and now I'm meeting Nash! oh my god skyland!!'

When we got to his house we went up to his room. he went downstairs to make some hot cocoa. Nash walked in and said "hey Hay- oh well hello, I'm Nash and you are beautiful." "um thanks" I said. "are you his girlfriend?" he asked "um ya why?" "cuz I was wondering if he would get mad if I did this" he said smirking. he leaned in and kissed me. after a while he pulled away. " ill miss you" he said then walked out of the room. 'Hayes is going to be so mad' I thought to myself. 'I'm so stupid! why didn't I pull away?' I asked myself.
