August Pov

"Who the fuck this bitch think she is." I rambled on to Des about what happened with Mrs.Bullard.

"She lucky i don't off her damn brother."

"Offer her some dick instead you can tell she need some it would be a even trade." Des remarked.

"Man I'm being for real right now." I said deciding to drop the conversation. I started to walk down the hall right before I noticed Deyla at her locker.

"Wanna join us fa lunch?" I asked her while leaning against the locker next to hers.

"I guess" she said trying to hide her slight smile.

We walked past the luch tables and sat outback on the patio. The breeze was cooling us off from today's 96 degree weather.

Im the type of person who goes after what I want and believe me if I wanted it...It was mine.

We ate lunch and I started light conversation with Deyla.

"Tell me about yourself" I asked

"What do you want to know?"

"Do you have a phone number." I said smiling slickly.

"Nigga you ain't smooth" des commented.

I smacked my teeth and turned my attention back towards Deyla.

"I don't have a cellphone" she mumbled clearly embarrassed.

"Oh ight" i said not believing what she said. If she ain't like a nigga thats all she had to say.

For the rest of the lunch time Des rambled and deyla showed fake interest.

I became annoyed after my last period of the day and rushed home.

"Oh shit!" I said out loud to myself

"I forgot Des" I said .I had only made it a block from the school. This nigga was shuffling down the side walk trying to catch up with my car. I pulled over on the side of the road and let him in.

"My bad bruh" i said trying to contain my laughter.

"Bitch I bout died and you over here laughing."

"Boy yo ass on the track team how you worn out already." I said.

"Bitch track don't stop me from having asthma and diabetes.. it aint a good combo." He huffed into his shirt trying to catch his breath.

I chuckled at his dramatic ass and headed towards his house.

"You wanna come in bruh." He asked.

"Hell nah yo family act just like you I need a break for today."

"Whateva bang my line bruh."

"Ightt" i replied pulling off.

I wasn't to busy today so I wanted to see where I could find this nigga Chance.
