Jerome's P.O.V. (Short)
I spent the rest of my night cuddled up against Mitch on my couch. This is why I love him, he doesn't have to say anything and he comforts me. Most people would be saying stupid things and trying to get me to forget what Luke did and Lou being shot, but Mitch sits there in silence, rubbing my head.
Every once in a while my phone will ring so Mitch answers it. It's usually someone asking how I am. Mitch always tells them I'm okay, to keep them for being worried, but he knows I'm not. I can tell Mitch is trying his best to be tough for me, but I can see him breaking.
Eventually Mitch carries me up to my room and lays me down on my bed. I pull the covers up to where they rest just below my neck. Mitch kisses my forehead gently and then turns to leave the room. I grab his arm and he turns back to me. "Don't leave me alone." I tell him quietly. He nods an climbs into the bed next to me. I feel his arms wrap around me and I drift off into a deep sleep.
*One month later*
Mitch's P.O.V.
I sat in the cold metal chair and tapped my fingers on the table. I stared at the empty chair across from me that would soon be filled by the person I've been dreading to see.
The heavy door opens and in walks a large man and a smaller teenage boy. The boy is wearing a simple orange gray jumpsuit and his hair is styled in the usual Beiber way. The man allows the chained boy to sit down in the seat across from me.
"Mitchell Hughes." Luke smiles. He went crazy after he killed Loui by accident. He has been in this "crazy home" ever since. "I've missed you." Luke says.
I tense up and stare into his ice blue eyes, feeling the hatred build up. He was the one who kept the love of my life captive. He was the one who caused me so much pain.
"Hey Luke." I say quietly. I know that the slightest things could set him off, so I didn't want to say anything stupid. "Long time, no see huh?" Luke lets out a stiff laugh and then nods. "No kidding. I haven't seen you since I killed the boy who loved me." Luke looked sad. I almost wanted to hug him, but I know he's insane. Who knows what he would do?
I talked to Luke for a while until he asked about Jerome. I froze. I felt my hands ball up. I wanted to punch him in the face so badly. He has nothing to do with my Jerome. He already lost my trust, I refuse to let him know anything about him.
"That's not important. All that matters is that we are still together. In fact, I'm going to ask him to marry me soon." I said to Luke, smiling at the thought of Jerome becoming 'Jerome Aceti-Hughes'
"That's good for you two. You two were meant to me. I'm sorry for everything." Luke tells me, turning his head to the floor. I felt sorry for him.
"Times up." The guard said. Luke waved goodbye to me, then the guard walked him out. He smiled at me just before he left. I swear that I saw a yet sliding down his cheek, but maybe it was just the lighting.
*one week later*
I finally bought the ring. I was going to propose to Jerome. I had a little preparing to do before I ask him. I have to clean off the back deck of Jerome's house (where I officially live) and I'm going to have a nice dinner all cooked up before he gets back from working at the school.
I decided that I would make some fancy dish that had a bunch of seafood. Luckily, I had already gone shopping for everything a few days before.
The next few hours consisted of a lot of cooking. A girl from down the street named Nikki Wilson helped my cook everything and get it laid out on the table. Nikki is cool, she even brought ever a box of decorations to jazz up the back yard.
"Thanks Nikki." I called to her ad she walked down the street tears her house. "You're welcome!" she called back. "And good luck!"
I paced around the house, anxiously waiting Jerome to show up. He texted me and said he'd be here at any time.
I can't wait.

I hope y'all enjoyed. It's probably short, but I don't care.
