"There they are." Victor murmured and I searched the monitors before us until I spotted Luke's long blond hair. Several feet behind him, I found Gabriel and Sean, though they were walking towards the bar seeming to ignore Luke all together.
My eyes were glued to the screens as I watched with rapt attention, my ears straining to make sense of the buzzing voices coming from Kota and Victor's earpieces. I was pretty sure that Gabriel was in Kota's ear from the sheer volume of his speaking voice and Victor kept trying not to laugh so I assumed Sean was making jokes in his earbud. That left Luke being connected to Owen.
Gabriel and Sean sat at the bar and ordered drinks, leaning into each other slightly to make it appear that they were there at the club together. Luke mingled through the room, smiling and laughing with several men who came up to talk to him. He didn't look anything like the guy who'd been embarrassed and nervous in Gabriel's room; in fact, he looked like he'd been born to be an actor, playing the room like a pro.
A rather loud yelling sounded from Kota's ear making him wince and I moved my eyes to Gabriel on the screen. He was standing and yelling at some stranger while Sean did his best not to burst into laughter beside him. As if he'd decided to save Gabriel from the man who I assumed had been trying to hit on him, Sean rose and slid his hand around Gabriel's waist, his hand gripping the opposite hip possessively, as he spoke to the stranger who held up his hands in surrender. To drive the scene home, Sean placed a soft but sensual kiss on the nape of Gabriel's neck and then drew him back to sit down at the bar once more. My eyes bugged out of my head in humored shock at the display and as the stranger walked away, I burst into laughter as I watched Gabriel turn around and punch Sean in the chest hard. Sean simply laughed, and I could hear the rich sound coming from Victor's earpiece.
"Princess is finding this quite humorous." Victor smiled as he communicated to Sean and I saw Sean on the monitor lean into Gabriel and whisper in his ear. Gabriel looked livid and Kota's ear exploded once again and I was able to hear several choice curse words.
"Calm down, Gabriel," I whispered against Kota's cheek making him stiffen at my proximity, "Only a real man could pull that off and you couldn't ask for a better looking partner." I giggled as Gabriel searched around the room until his eyes locked onto one of the cameras we were using to watch them and he flipped me the bird before pouting at his cocktail. Sean found the same camera and gave it a thumbs up and a sexy wink, and I assumed that he'd heard my comment as well.
"Gentlemen, let's not lose sight of why we're here." Owen grumbled and I shot him an eye roll which he pointedly ignored. "Target is inside the club, does anyone have a visual?"
I searched through the screens to see who they might be talking about, but no one stuck out to me, yet. Victor moved around one of the cameras until a tall lean man filled the frame. He was wearing blacks slacks and a blue buttoned down shirt, almost like he'd just come from a day at the office. I could tell that his muscles were bulky beneath his clothes, and he wore brown rimmed glasses and his head was shiny and bald; the only hair on his face was his bushy graying eyebrows that were drawn down in a slight frown. From the looks that Kota, Victor, and Owen were giving him through the screens, I assumed he was the guy they were here for.
"Who's that?" I asked to no one in particular, but other than a side glance from Kota none of them acknowledged my question. Well, fine, then!
"Gabe and Sean have him." Kota informed Owen who nodded in thanks for the update.
"Lucian, he's sitting in a booth to your right." Owen spoke to Luke and I found him leaning against a wooden pillar being talked up by a hot tall guy wearing dark jeans and surprisingly no shirt. He had dark cropped hair and his back and chest were covered in tattoos, a large fierce bear stretched across his back being the highlight of his ink.
