"The real treasures were the memories we made along the way."
"I almost died!"
"Ah yes, that was my fondest memory."
"That was my worst memory I'm still afraid of acorns because of it!"
"I know it's great because you jump like a cat into the air every time I throw one at you."
"Yeah well, you shouldn't have pretended to be a ghost that night throwing acorns at me in the woods. Then I'd never been afraid of them!"
"It's not my fault you're a scaredy cat that gets scared easily by just the sound of a can hitting the ground," I replied voice fading off remember something very important, regret filling my entire being. Tears welled in the corner of her eyes rapidly.
"It's NOT my fault that I get scared easily blame that on the rapist that made me like this...Who still torments me to this day." She said crying by the word rape. I quickly got up from my seat rushing to her side cuddling her. Till she crumpled and we sat on the ground her being cradled in my lap rubbing her back.
"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to bring that back up. I'm so so sorry." I said starting to tear up myself. After a while,

she stopped crying and looked up at her girlfriend. She saw the tears and frowned. She shifted to face her fully and placed little butterfly kisses on her face to dry the tears. Then kissed her on the lips tasting her strawberry chapstick. She pulled back and her girl smiled causing her to break out into giggles.

"I can't ever stay mad at you for long, and I know you didn't mean it." She said smiling.
"I love you so much and I promise I will never hurt you again," I said blushing not liking sentiment or mushy crap like this, but I knew she needed it right now. So I'll bear anything to keep her happy. She giggled again and nodded her head cuddling into my neck also blushing.
"I lo-love yo-you too." She stuttered out embarrassed. I hug her tighter smiling into her hair.
All's Well And Ends Well. I thought standing up bringing me and her to our room to get some well-needed sleep after our long day.
