Creative Writing: The fall Of Glycolysis

      Glycolysis was a peaceful and enchanting kingdom. Any and all who ventured their never left. It was magnificent ns breathtakingly beautiful to the traveler's eye. Many of the travelers were ATP standing for A Traitoring Peasant to their neighboring kingdom. All who entered the granite carved gateway and become subjects of the king were then called ADP short for A Dependable Peasant so what the king liked to call them. Most of the subjects wanted to rule this might kingdom and take all its riches for themselves, but none could ever over through the ruthless, money hungry king who strived for power; lived off it. He drew people into his kingdom to help it grow to have more human shields ready to defend him and their new or old home of Glycolysis so he would stay safe and blotted with the spoils of the wars and rebellions within his wall. That is until the king's wife had twin boys and Glycolysis was never the same again. The twins were power hungry like their father, they fought over anything and everything they could get their greedy hands on including their fathers kingdom. So when the king died before giving the throne and crown to one of his sons they both tried to assume the role of king it not ending well.
    The kingdom split both twins and subjects taking sides on who they wanted to be their king the energy and tensions rising between the two. In the end the borders of Glycolysis were redrawn splitting into Northern Pyruvate and Southern Pyruvate the subject taking to the side they favored. Both brothers sides often got ATP's since their once ADP would turn traitor often never really choosing a side. from the other and both got a new breed of subjects formed from NAD or Never A Decider called NADH often the offsprings of the NAD subjects. NADH was short for Now A Definite Hailer. Their children able to choose the side they wanted and hailed or worshipped that king in some instances. That was over 3.5 to 4 billion years ago the names and borders of the kingdoms change drastically. That had happened due to the Goddess OxyGen no interfering in their lifetime. That was called the Anaerobic Respiration Era, were prayers and wishes were not answered or received by her. Then finally after 2 or 3 billion years later when the Goddess OxyGen was soon to be forgotten she gradually returned to caring for the lives of humans once again. OxyGen was able to help the original Glucose subjects whose hearts still believed in the old ways. Showed them they were able to break down the ATP subjects also and make a version of ATP to their liking. Now most of the subjects of the kingdoms to make ATP with the help of OxyGen to hopefully bring back the once might whole kingdom back. Slowly new ways to make ATP was invented calling themselves the Krebs cycle order and Electron Transport occult. With the help of OxyGen the old Era of Anaerobic Respiration ended and the new Aerobic Respiration Era had started and flourished thanks to the Mitochondrion subjects or noble men and women in the two kingdoms.
    The Krebs Cycle Order was a dominating group in both kingdoms their main goal is to break down the glucose subjects completely. They often put them through an ination of sorts were they use a holy liquid called citric acid. It puts them through a series of reactions that release energy. The lower members often using this energy these members are normally the NADH, ATP, and FADH2 or Favored And Definite Hailer. The Glucose having to go through it twice be down completely right. The Krebs Cycle Order believing that in doing so the cleansed Carbon Atoms that everyone has combines with the Goddess OxyGen. Making them connected to the Goddess spiritually. They call this transfer the 16 energy-carrier phase. In this subgroup is 4 ATP, 10 NADH, and 2 FADH2. The subgroups soul purpose is to worship OxyGen and make more energy-carrier phases happen.
    The other most influential group in the long since dead brothers kingdoms is the Electron Transport Occult. They are a branch of from the Krebs Cycle Order. The ETOC for short is a tier higher up than the KCO so everyone in the KCO wanted to be ranked up higher since it is the final stage in the Aerobic Respiration Era groups. In the ETOC the NADH and FADH2 members are converted to a ATP once again. NADH and FADH2 release high-energy electrons which move along electron transport chains so as the name of their occult. Which are believed to be a sign of the Goddess OxyGen contacting them. Just like the long forgotten Order or centuries past; The Photosynthesis Order that was a leader about 1 billion years ago. The high-energy in the Photosynthesis Order days was a sign and part of their soul was being used to pump hydrogen ion the spirit of OxyGen or so they thought. Without the ATP group which was an honor in the Order because they acted as a channel, helping the hydrogen ions cross. After crossing through the chain they would combine with OxyGen to form the most vital essence of life; water. So without OxyGen this Order would never be here and the Electron Transport Occult would never have existed.
    Holy or sacred rituals in the KCO and ETOC were Lactic Acid and Alcohol Fermentation. Lactic Acid and Alcohol Fermentation were another ritual process that didn't require OxyGen to help them. The way they gathered or extracted energy was from the old ways when Glycolysis was still one whole kingdom. The Lactic Acid ritual requires the NADH's. They will start the process that will transfer their electrons directly to the Pyruvate like a binding between the two. The Lactic Acid in the muscle is transported through the two peoples bloodstream to their livers. The Pyruvate receive the Lactic Acid and let the ritual process normally in the remaining reactions.
    Alcohol Fermentation is when the NADH donates its electrons gifts to a derivative Pyruvate, that is sick and producing ethanol I curse by the God HydroGen who was envious with OxyGen his sister because all of the mortals love and prayed to her. Though in reality it was a blessing, and this ritual in the end only helped it. The Carboxyl group or warlocks/high priests of the occult and order are removed or shunned from being near the Pyruvate, they then are called Carbon Dioxide to make it impossible for the pyruvate to know where they are or who they were. This made the group split into two-carbon molecule groups to conceal them better and given the name Acetaldehyde. The next phase is the NADH that donate its electrons gives its other electrons to the Acetaldehyde groups, which would generate the NAD+ in the groups, forming ethanol. Which then helped the Pyruvate recover its strength and no longer was sick. Those the ritual being a time consuming but complete process, since they use old day ways to complete it fully.
    As time went on the Glycolysis kingdom become nothing but a history and distant memory. The Krebs Cycle Order and Electron Transport Occult continued growing and advancing in its practices, though now it has much more advanced ways to do its rituals and right of passage into the clans, them names never changed having a strong link and bond to their heritage and past,wanting it to stay them same. It was a way to remember their goal and purpose and to not stray from it. Though Glycolysis was no longer the same or even one country the two family lines were always close and followed many of the same laws and traditions has their ancestors had once as one great nation. Never forgetting where they had really started and where they were heading.
