~Cammie Morgan~
I ducked, or tried to. I knew there was no way anyone could escape a gun man with good aim. For a while, blood rushed to my brain, and my brain was wired to anticipate the pain. But it didn't come. No blood came rushing our of my body. No immense pain commenced in my metabolism. Nothing.
The man's gun was knocked out. Was it my aid? Was it anyone who was shocked by the wall screaming?
"You seemed to have forgotten a particular instruction I gave you," a sweet voice sounded after the scare had passed.
I took advantage of the situation. I ran towards the black figure and tackled her to the ground. My left hand grabbed her shoulder, but her hands came up to defend herself against me, shifting her balance and taking the offensive. Three seconds later, I was the one laying splat on the floor.
"Not so tough now, huh, Cammie?" It was Catherine. Zach's mother.
"Ma'am, you told me to bring her to you," the man protested.
Catherine positioned herself so that I couldn't get up, and in other words, I am now defenceless.
"I told you to bring her to me alive. She dead will do nothing for me," Catherine said. "Stupid."
"I am so sorry, ma'am, I had only wanted to please you," the man said.
"Hush now," Catherine said. "Your voice is too loud." True to her word, her words are a light silk flowing seamlessly across the soundless stream.
"Sorry, ma'am."
"Down to business," Catherine said. "Recently, we have invested in a new kind of spyware. This Spidernet spyware allows us to listen to whatever conversation you are having, whatever sight you are seeing. It becomes you. It can see what you can see, hear what you can hear, smell what you can smell, taste what you can taste. If you try to remove it, it would send an electric shock through you so vigorous that you would be permanenntly brain-damaged. Of course, removing it would require a large amount of technology. Without a lab, you couldn't remove it. This," Catherine removed a spyware from her pocket. "is Spidernet. Once it is attached to skin and activated, it starts. You cannot remove it."
I struggled. I tried hard to struggle against Catherine's strong body. My hands tried to wrangle free from Catherine's boots. My legs tried to kick Catherine, somewhere, anywhere, but she had too strong a grip. Too powerful a threat.
"Now now now," Catherine said. "This is about to go on your skin. How about your back, Cammie? It shall be cool."
Catherine flipped me. I tried to use the ground as a base for a kick, or roundhouse kicks, but the turn Catherine turned me with is one of Gallagher Academy's own martial arts trick, Captive Turn. In the years I have studied in the Gallagher Academy, I knew there was little, or close to no way I could ever attack when she was Captive Turning me.
"Caleb!" Catherine shouted at the man. "Hold her down!"
"Yes, ma'am." The man wasted no time.
"Don't let her get away this time. I'm sure you wouldn't want any injuries," Catherine continued. "Darling, my darling little Cammie, the way out is sealed. The only key is with me, and of course I will let you go, once we get that spyware on you. How wonderful would it be? You will be our walking spy!"
"No!" I protested, I yelled, but surely no one can help me now.
"It is a bit too late now, calling for help. After all, my Zach would not be running towards you, huh? Your friends don't actually care about you, Cammie. How can you explain why they couldn't find you in the summer? Perhaps, Cammie, they were relaxing in their own little house, hoping you're gone from the world, and they'll be free." Catherine waved the spyware threateningly.
"You are behind this, aren't you?" I directed my anger at her, but it was of no apparent use.
"No, but I knew of it," Catherine said. "After all, you want answers, and I want answers. What better way to get my answer than through you?"
The man's grip was weak. I had gotten one hand free, but Catherine, having noticed it, quickly knocked my hand back to the floor.
"Better get this over with quickly," Catherine said. "No need to let her get away."
The spyware in her hand grew. I watched her hand hover over my back, as she lifted my shirt and planted the Spidernet right in the middle of my spine. I felt a shiver rushing down, pulsing, and soon, I heard its mechanical tick, tock, tick, tock, and it was disrupting.
I am a walking spy, now. I am a threat to the Gallagher Academy. I should plan my escape now.
The young girl who was in the room, suddenly woke up from her slumber. "What are you doing to her?" she said.
Wrong thing to say. The man turned around and fired. Blood pulsed through my sight. My eyes jerked away from her. This is yet another life I had dragged into my pool of mess.
"We will monitor your every move now, from now to your death," Catherine smirked like the devil. Now, let us inject you."
I watched them, against my will, I struggled and struggled, but they managed to inject a serum into my arm. I watched Catherine and the man press a secret button, and they were sank down into earth. I watched myself blink, and suddenly, I was out of the inner walls, and back in the corridor where I wandered in. I couldn't watch myself, as one finger became two, two became three, the darkness took me, my eyelids became too heavy to keep up, and the serum in me working. The last thing I knew, was that I was lying in the corridor, bloody from struggles, with a Spidernet on my back, rendering me a walking spy for the COC against my will.

Dear Readers,
I am aware how I have spent a lot of time updating this. Well, I haven't updated this a lot, so I hope this is okay. And yes, I know I am supposed to do Zach's POV, but come on, Cammie's is much more exciting and intriguing than Zach's is right now. Anyway, vote, comment, and support. You can comment, or pm me story ideas or plot twists that you think could commence in the story. Not to mention, you can, of course, fangirl and yell at me with one hundred exclamation marks how I am leaving behind a cliff hanger since I seem to love it these days.
