I had decided to walk to school alone, today. I walked past the boys in the hallway and went straight to my locker. I avoided eye contact, I kept to myself, I made sure no one would talk to me-

"Hey, Giselle!" A voice called. Dammit. I tried so hard to stay away from them.

I sighed and turned around, seeing a new face. Not a new face, actually, but someone I've never talked to before. I recognized her, though. Nichole Daniels.

"Oh, hi," I smiled nervously. She recognized how nervous I was and frowned.

"I'm not here to fight you or anything," she assured me, "I just came to tell you that the girls have been talking, and we've gotten into quite the argument."

  "About what?" I questioned.

"Well, Wendy and Bebe have been saying thing about you. And our group has become two groups. I know you think we all hate you, but some of us really do want to be your friend." Nichole gave me a bright smile. She seemed genuine, and I would give anything to have a friend that was, well, my gender.

"Oh, that's really nice to hear, actually," I let out a small laugh.

"Do you want to, maybe, sit with us at lunch?" Nichole asked. I thought about it for a second. I either sat alone or with the boys. Either way, I would have to keep to myself and eat in silence.

"That would be great," I nodded, then heard the bell for homeroom ring, "See you then," I waved, walking to class.

As soon as I got there, I noticed the substitute sleeping at the teacher's desk. I shrugged and went to sit in the back at my normal seat, but was stopped by a familiar black haired girl.

"Well if it isn't Giselle Helin." Wendy sneered at me. I rolled my eyes and tried to walk to my desk, but was blocked by her again.

"Oh, were you trying to go somewhere? Sorry. No losers in the back." She laughed, making a few girls laugh along with her.

"Go sit in the front, freakshow," Wendy spun around and sat in the desk I normally sat at. I sighed and backed away, walking to a seat in the front, which luckily was next to ny favorite pervert.

"Hey Ken." I waved at him. Kenny smiled at me and waved back.

Before Kenny could say anything, the door burst open and his three friends walked in.

Kyle walked in first and waved at me, then sat behind Kenny. Stan followed and sat behind me without a word. Cartman walked in last and-

"Aye, bitch! Get out of my seat!" Cartman screamed.

I was going to get up when Kenny put his arm on my shoulder, gesturing for me to stay seated.

"There's a seat over there, fatass. Go sit there," Kenny told him.

"But thats where Wendy sits!" Cartman complained. "I don't want to touch her fucking contaminated seat!"

"Cartman, stop being a baby! Just go-"

"Kenny, just shut up! She's not supposed to be sitting there, anyway!" Stan interrupted. Everyone turned to him in shock. He was defending Cartman? Even Cartman stood shocked. Realizing the tension, he took the seat without anymore complaints.

"Well, why don't you tell your girlfriend to sit in her seat, then?" Kenny snapped. I wasn't exactly sure what was happening, but I had a feeling it wouldn't end well.

"Oh fuck off, McCormick, you always hated Wendy!" Stan yelled back.

"Do you really want to say that here?" Kenny hissed at him, then glanced at me. Wait. Why did he look at me? What's that supposed to mean?

"You...you shut up. You don't know anything." Stan started to get anxious.

"Well you know what I do know?" Kenny said, getting out of his seat and standing in front of my desk. "I know how I feel about people, which is more than you will ever be able to say."

Kenny reached into his pocket and then put a bracelet on my desk. I took the bracelet and looked at it. It must have cost a lot.

  "Kenny, why did you-"

"I like you a lot, Giselle." Kenny blurted out. I looked up at him in shock. Was he really saying this?

"Giselle, will you go out with me?"
