Epilogue

The rest of the year flew by. Stan and I had gotten very close over the next few months and by the time May came, we were happy to find out we would be spending the next couple of years in the same college, too. We were both going to Colorado State University, which was also where Craig, Jimmy, and Kenny were going. Kyle got a scholarship to Duke University, Tweek was staying home for a year to help at the shop before going to college, Token was able to get into some private college, Clyde chose to stay in South Park for a while, and Cartman wasn't thinking too much about his future at the moment.

I wasn't exactly sure what Wendy was doing or where she was going. I know where Bebe is going, but I feel that I shouldn't say it out loud. I never did make up with Wendy, which I never expected to. She did leave me alone after I broke her nose, though. Good for her; I could've broken more if I wanted to.

My parents had visited a few times, too. I told them about Stan and me dating, which they were pretty happy about; except my brother, who chose to make fun of me as usual.

If I'm being honest, I can't promise Stan and I will be together forever. I'm not saying I want us to separate, but I would have never expected to be with him in the first place. Hopefully, we can survive university or maybe it'll be over by the first semester, or maybe in ten years we'll be married and have kids and two dogs named Cody and Lola. Who really knows?

But maybe it was worth it. Maybe being with Stan right now was worth more than anything in the future. Maybe he was everything I needed right now.

"Giselle, you coming or what?" Stan waved his hand in front of me, laughing at my confused face.

  "What?" I asked.

"We're all going over to Token's house. You coming or what?"

"Yeah, just give me a second," I told him. Stan nodded and kissed my cheek before running after the guys. I watched him go and smiled to myself.

  Yeah, he's definitely worth it.

It's over. After 30 chapters, New Competition is finally over. It's gotten over 300 reads in the four months that it has been out. That may not seem like much to some people, but it really is to me. Thank you so much for reading my book and putting up with my weird schedule that I sometimes didn't even follow. I know the epilogue is shorter than most chapters, but I couldn't think of much for the ending. I am most likely not doing a sequel since they would be in college and the characters would be all over the place and I wouldn't really know how to write a story like that. However, I still hope you enjoyed this book. That's really all I can say, so thanks again! Bye~
