Chapter 5- Totally and Utterly in love

9 hours later, Ward and I are lying in his bed, in each others arms, with the blanket over the top of us. 

We have been at it for 8 hours straight, we have only just stopped, to catch our breath. 

I have completely and utterly been surprised by Ward, but I am in love with him. And he is in love with me. 

We have been in each others arms for an hour and a half, when there is a knock on the door and Coulson's voice come through the door. Ward says that he will be out in a minute. 

Reluctantly, I get up out of the bed and start to get dressed and Ward follows me. When we were dressed, I reached for the door knob, but Ward put his arms around me and turned me around and kissed me instead. I didn't resist. I would do anything to be able to stay here in Ward's bed and stay in his arms forever, but we can't. Reluctantly I detangle myself from Ward, but keep hold of his hand, I open the door and lead Ward out and into the conference room, where the others are waiting.

When we walk in hand in hand, everyone notices. I avoid everyones eyes and just look at the floor. Before I turned my eyes to the floor, I saw May glare at me. I try to take my hand out of Ward's but he won't let me. 

I look at him. He looks me directly in the eyes and smiles. I suddenly realise that he doesn't want to keep our relationship a secret, he wants everyone to know that we are a couple. 

That is when I realise that I don't want to hide it either. I wnat everyone to know how much I love Ward.

I squeeze his hand and he squeezes back. Then we turn to Coulson and wait for him to tell use why he has asked us here.
