"Revenge is a dish best served cold, isn't it?" She said with a smile on her face, the very same face he fell in love with.
"Not you. Please!" He cried out, falling to his knees. His light had been extinguished.
"I told you." Another woman came out from behind her. "I will destroy everything. YOU should have taken the warning much more seriously."
"GIA, NO!"
--
"Why are you looking at Gia as if she fucking died?" Rohit came up to Virat interrupting his stares towards the ever so oblivious Gia as she chatted with her friends. "Bro, what's wrong?"
"Nothing," Virat sighed. "Just a nightmare."
"What's the deal with you and Anushka now though? I thought you guys had moved on?" Rohit said as they walked through the corridor, going to their next class.
"Didn't you say it, fuck with her or fuck her after school's out?" Virat smirked as he spotted Meera. "This is called damage control."
"My God." Rohit mumbled as he saw Virat walk towards her. "I think Meera just became Anushka and Virat's latest bitch."
--
"So why can't we go out once in a while?" Shruti asked as she paused the movie and moved her head away from Jassi's shoulder. "I really want you to meet my best friend, Simran. She's right now really psychotic but I assure you, she's really really the bestest friend ever." She giggled, melting Jasprit's heart just a bit as she showed her teeth.
"Hmm." He mumbled as his hands went around her waist, pulling her close. "I don't want to share you with anyone, yet. You're like my bubble of happiness, Shruts. I really want to just be with you and you only."
But Shruti didn't know what was happening. Shruti was his bubble and she just reminded him of the calamity that was about to happen. He rested his chin on her shoulder and just breathed in the scent and wondered. Is it worth it loosing Shruti, doing this thing of his?
He just breathed. He was so lost, so lonely.

"So, how's Meera?" Anushka asked as she picked on her salad, looking up at Hardik.
"She's amazing, as usual!" He beamed. "But there's someone else who's got his eye on her, I think." He quietened down, the joy dimmed.
"No!" She gasped. "Who is it? Maybe I know the person?" She hummed, thinking about his answer.
She loved Hardik. She loved him when he opened his door to ten year old Anushka and her parents and smiled his toothy smile and let them into their house for the first time. She loved him when he broke his finger and had to be taken to the emergency department and the whole way he wouldn't cry because Anushka was accompanying him but as soon as she left, he bawled because it was too painful. She loved him when he tried to comfort her after Virat and her broke up, calling the other guy 'ullu ke patte' for not realising what a gem his Nushki was.
This was pure love. Not what she had for Virat, what she really had for Hardik.
Too bad she wasn't selfish enough to let it go.
"Some guy called Virat, apparently." He snorted. "I mean, what kind of a name is that? Virat." he shook his head, eating his food. "Do you know him?"
"Hmm." She nodded. "Bit of a player, he is."
"Maybe if I go and tell Meera she'll be discouraged."
"You should, definitely."

But today, inspiration struck.
So here it is, really. I really hope there are the fans out there who've been waiting for this and I really hope that you aren't too pissed with me!
And pinky swear, I'm going to finish this book this quarantine :)
With love,
Meg☺️
