Chapter Five: Welcome to Souldark

Yeah, just bored today. Well, here's your update, and my friend is probably really happy.
They looked at the gates, then looked at each other.

They sliced the gates apart with their swords and entered the kingdom of Souldark.

"Well, this looks very... umm", Yvette said as she couldn't find a word.

"Sinister?" Dusk said.

"Yeah..." Yvette said.

"Well, let's work on saving the king right?" Dusk said.

"Yeah!" Yvette said.

They saw the castle of Souldark. There were two guards the entrance of it. "So, how do we get past them? You have a plan?" Yvette asked.

"Yeah, I'll distract them and you kill them ok?" Dusk responded.

"Ok", Yvette said.

Dusk stepped out of their hiding spot, and revealed himself to the guards. "Why hello", he smirked.

"Traitor! Let's get him!" one of the guards said.

They took out their scythes and swinged them towards Dusk, and Dusk protected himself with his sword.

Then, Yvette jumped out from her hiding spot and attacked one of the guards with her sword. The attacked guard fell down. And Dusk pushed the other guard with his foot down to ground.

Then, they both killed them with their swords. "What do they mean "traitor?" Yvette asked.

"Nothing", Dusk said.

Yvette grabbed him by the collar of his clothes. "Tell me Dusk, what are you hiding from me?" Yvette asked.

"Yvette take your hands off me, their words mean nothing", Dusk said.

"Fine", she took her hands off of him.

They looked at each other, "Please, don't hide anything from me Dusk", Yvette whispered.

Dusk kept quiet. "Ok, let's just find the dungeon of this castle, which it probably has", Dusk finally said.

They went inside the castle, and tried finding the dungeon. They found it, but they needed a key. They tried slicing the gates, but it didn't even had a scratch on the gates.

"You think it would be easy to save your so-called beloved king?" a voice said.

"Huh?" Yvette said.

"You really think so, Dusk?" a reaper that looked sinister said as he revealed himself.

"You know this reaper?!" Yvette asked as she turned to Dusk.

Dusk kept quiet. "Yes, he knows me. You are blinded by all his lies, he is a reaper", the sinister looking reaper said.

"What?!" Yvette shouted at Dusk.

"I'm sorry, Yvette", Dusk said.

"You lied to me, not just me, you lied to the whole Hopelight Kingdom!" Yvette said.

Dusk nodded and kept quiet. "There is no excuse what you did?!" Yvette said.

"I DO!!" Dusk said.

"OH REALLY!! SAY IT!!" Yvette said.

"I HATE THE REAPERS!! I HATE TAKING SOULS!! I HATE DESTROYING ANGELS, ANIMALS, AND HUMANS!! I... just want to be free", Dusk shouted.

"Free? Really Dusk, that's your excuse?", a reaper said.
