Chapter 3 - I hate fakers sequel
"Morning baby" a deep voice softly murmurs next to my ear.
Mmmm.... Jayden...
I roll over and snuggle into his bare chest while smiling... This is definitely the best way to wake up in the morning.
"Morning" I mumble as my breath tickles his chest.
Jayden tucks his finger under my chin and lifts my head so that I meet his gaze, he then says "We want to get an early start, so why don't you go wash up, while I make your coffee"
"Yip" I immediately reply, and then place a quick kiss on his lips before vaulting out of bed and into the bathroom. Jayden's rich laugh fills the suite, as I turn the water on to take a shower.
After my shower, I wrap a towel around myself and walk into the kitchen where Jayden is waiting for me, with my coffee.
Jayden places the cup in my hands and I close my eyes while inhaling the delectable aroma of my 'JD coffee'. Mmmm, pure bliss!
Before taking a sip, I place the cup on the counter and without giving Jayden any warning I jump on him. His eyes go wide, and in a flash his arms go around me to hold me up. I then take his lips hostage in a passionate kiss, leaving him breathless.
I smirk at him and slowly extricate myself from his grip, careful not to let the towel drop off me, and say "Thank you"
Jayden doesn't release me, but chuckles and replies "You do realize you have now set a precedent. So now I will always expect that as a thank you."
"Sorry. But that is only for special occasions" I reply sweetly and then take a small sip of my coffee. Im not sure what the special occasion I am referring to is, probably just the good mood I am in at the moment.
"Such a tease" Jayden murmurs as he kisses my forehead lightly, and then heads off to the bathroom to shower.
I take my coffee with me into the bedroom to hunt down an outfit for today.
I place my coffee on the bed side table, and then drag my suitcase to the foot of the bed. I try to hoist the suitcase on the bed, but it is so damn heavy!
What the hell is in here? Rocks!?!
I try again, then suddenly grunt as pain snakes across my lower back. Ouch!
On the plus side, I managed to get the damn suitcase on the bed. While rubbing the strained muscle in my back, I pull out clothes and scatter them on the bed until I find what I will wear.
Before I get dressed, I call room service and order breakfast for Jayden and I, along with some pain relief for my stupid back. That done, I finish my coffee and get dressed in black skinny jeans, a white shirt, red woolen cropped vest, and I put my black jacket over the back of the dining room chair to grab later.
I pace the room trying to relieve the ache in my back while rubbing the muscle red. Pacing gives me motivation to think, so I think about what we are going to do today.
I hope I will get a chance to see Troy today. I think Ive developed a soft spot for that little guy.
What is his story? What happened to his parents? Why hasn't he been adopted yet?
I should be more grateful about my parents - they love me and my brother so much (apart from my mothers small lapse last year, but shes over that now). Feeling a little guilty, I quickly dial my mother's number, not caring what time it is back home.
"Hello. Im not in at the moment. Please leave a message. Toodles" my mothers answer phone says and I groan.
After the click of her answer phone, I leave a message for her saying "Hey mom. Its me. I just wanted to tell you that I love you. I probably don't say it enough, but I really do. Miss you mom. Love, Ali."
