-Katie's P.O.V-

My Dad's hands continued to tighten around my neck. I could feel myself growing faint as my eyes closed. My Dad was still shouting at me, but his words became slow and slurred as my brain wasn't functioning properly. Suddenly I dropped to the floor, I had no strength in me at all. A few tears pricked my eyes before tumbling down my heated cheeks. I stayed collapsed on the floor when I heard shouting from what sounded like a female voice. My Dad's footsteps faded away, soon they were replaced by light steps, who I assumed was the same person who was shouting. She was talking to me but I didn't understand what she was saying. She hooked her hands under my arms and helped me to my feet. I stumbled along the path, if it wasn't for her I would have just stayed there on the floor. My vision was blurry, I had no idea who this women was or where she was taking me, but at the moment it was my only option. I could tell she was leaning up against a wall trying to regain her breath, when suddenly someone shouted my name.

"KATIE, OH MY GOD WHAT HAPPENED?"

The voice was easily recognisable, Olly.

-Olly's P.O.V-

I was walking home when I saw someone hunched up against the wall, trying to support another person who had obviously been attacked. I made my way over to try and help when I recognised the shoulder length brown hair, the dark jeans and pale blue tank top I had seen earlier. It was Katie. I rushed over whilst shouting,

"KATIE, OH MY GOD WHAT HAPPENED?"

She mumbled slightly, obviously recognising my voice. I asked the woman what happened.

"Well I was walking along the pavement when I heard shouting from the alley by the supermarket. I pushed the gate open, and this old guy was holding her up to the wall. strangling her. As soon as I went in he dropped her, but she fell to the floor"

"What did this guy look like exactly?"

"About 40, extremely short black hair, quite tall and muscular, but his pupils were dilated, I'm assuming he had been drinking"

"Oh my god"

"What? Do you know him?"

"Uh no, uhm, thankyou so much but you can leave now, I have this covered"

"Ok, well I hope she will feel better soon"

And with that the woman left. What if she hadn't heard the shouting, would anyone else have saved her? Would Katie be lying on the cold pavement dead? I told myself there was no point in thinking like that, it would only make matters worse. But how would I tell George. I continued to walk along the path supporting Katie as we tried to get to my apartment. As we reached the steps I fumbled for my keys in the pocket of my jeans. I eventually managed to hook my fingers around the keyring whilst holding Katie against my side. I opened the door before taking Katie through to the guest room and lying her down. I quickly got a warm flannel, a first aid kit and a glass of water and rushed to sit beside her. I placed the flannel on her neck then opened the first aid kit to get antiseptic wipes. As I wiped away the blood, I noticed how deep the cuts were, they must have been dragged against a wall or something. The marks on her neck were bright red and swollen. Who would do this to their own daughter, it was sick. My thoughts were interrupted when my phone rang, it was Jaymi. This was the best way to tell George.

"Hey babe"

"Hey Olly, everything ok over there? Haven't made too much of a mess have you?"

"No I haven't, but there is something I need to talk to you about"

"Olly what's happened?"

"Its Katie, I think we need to call the police about her Dad"

"WHAT?! What the hell has happened?!"

"He attacked her in the alley by the supermarket"

"What? Is-is she o-ok?"

"No, he-he"

"HE WHAT?!"

"He strangled her"

"Oh my god, you need to take her to the hospital"

"I know I do, and I will, when she's woken up, and anyway I have medical training"

"What do you mean, woken up?"

"She's unconscious"

"Olly you have to take her to the hospital now!"

"No, she is our friend Jay, it should be her decision if she goes. I mean she will have to explain what happened"

"And? What is the problem?"

"Ugh, I know he is a drunken psychopath, but he is her father. Involuntarily handing your father over to the police isn't an easy thing to do"

There was silence from the other side of the phone line.

"Uh Jay?"

"Why do you always have to be right?"

"Because its what I do, we all know how much I hate to be wrong"

"Yes we do"

"Jaymi, you need to tell George"

"What? I can't, you know what he's like, he will want to come home and I can't let him do that"

"Jay how would you feel if I was attacked by someone and you didn't even know about it until the police contacted you"

"Ok I see your point, I will tell him"

"Good, now I need to take care of Katie so bye babe, love you"

"Love you too"

I hung up the phone and threw it onto the floor, it was the last thing I cared about at the moment. I bandaged up Katie's hands and treated her neck. I made sure she was comfortable and her neck was supported before leaving the room.

-George's P.O.V-

After getting some snog fro-yo (My favourite thing ever) I wandered back to the hotel. I heard shouting coming from Jay's room so I went in there. It sounded like he was on the phone to Jay, he hung up and turned to see me standing in the door.

"Everything ok mate?"

"George, there's something you should know"

"What? What's happened"

"Katie was attacked earlier"

"WHAT?! BY WHO, IS SHE OK?!"

"Well, she is unconscious, but Olly is looking after her, he is taking her to the hospital when she wakes up"

"WHO ATTACKED HER JAY?"

"H-her dad"

"Oh my god"

"Listen George, she will be ok, Olly is going to tell the police everything, she's safe now"

"I should have been there"

"George don't blame yourself for this, he's a drunken idiot"

"Yes, a drunken idiot who should be locked up, who does he think he is! He can't just attack people, especially his own daughter"

I walked towards the door before Jay shouted,

"George where are you going?"

"Home, I need to see Katie"

"You aren't going anywhere, she isn't even awake yet, she is safe with Olly, you need to trust him"

"I do, but it should be me looking after her"

"George we are on radio tour! I know she is important to you, but she knows how important this band is to you. She wouldn't want you to leave because of her"

"You're right, but please ask Olly to keep us posted"

"I will, promise"

I gave Jaymi a tight hug before walking out of the room. I strolled down the corridor and opened the door to mine and Josh's room. I looked over at Josh who was sound asleep. I collapsed on the bed, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't fall asleep.
