6- FOOD (yas girl)

I head to the market for my yogurt snack. Mmm yogurt. I love yogurt. Okay which kind do I want? Um...cherry, raspberry, or blueberry & cream. I want cherry. As I grab my yogurt, did I mention I love yogurt?, I see a cute little blond boy looking lost. I've always loved kids, and this one was no exception. He looked a little scared and lost, so I decided to approach him.
"Hey little man! Are you lost?"
His eyes widened in fear.
"Don't worry, I'll help you. Are you looking for your mom?"
He nodded and started to get tears. Poor guy. I smile at him and he seems to calm down just a bit.
"What's your name honey?"
"I-I'm Jeff." He stammers.
"Well Jeff, my name is Lexi. Now, what's your mom's name so we can find her?"
"Mommy's name is Gina."
Aww how cute.
"Alright Jeff, let's go look for her."
I hold out my hand for him, and he takes it. Jeff seems a lot calmer, and even smiles and skips a bit as we walk around.
"How old are you Jeff?" I ask.
He holds up four fingers in response.
"Wow! You're so grown!" I jokingly exclaim.
He giggles a little, his face lighting up. Dang this kid is adorable!
Suddenly, a younger woman, probably in her late twenties starts coming towards us.
"Jeff!" She exclaims and she hugs him. She takes a step back and notices me.
"I'm guessing you're his mom, Gina?"
"Yep! Thank you so much! This little monkey loves to explore around, and I got distracted trying to find some clothes for his baby sister that's coming." She says as she strokes her big belly protectively.
"I completely get you! Well, it was nice meeting you Jeff! But I better get going."
He suddenly looks very sad and starts to get teary.
"Huh, that's weird." Gina says. "He has autism and never really likes people or talks much."
"Really? He seemed pretty normal and happy to me."
"Well, Miss..."
"Oh, sorry, I'm Lexi."
"Well Lexi, would you like to exchange numbers? This little guy seems very fond of you, and I would hate for him to never see you again."
"Oh yes, of course! I would love to come see this little guy again. Here." I hand her my phone, and she does the same. I type in my number and hand her phone back.
"Thanks! We will have to meet up sometime!"
For sure! Well, I best be going, I have to head back to work."
"Alright, have a good day!"
"You too!" And with that, I paid for my yogurt and left.

Well that was interesting... Alright, off to get my coffee.

Yummy! Yogurt and a Carmel Frappé! This is awesome...oh wait, should I get Jake anything? Would he think I like him? Worse, would he think I'm his secretary? Or some girl who tries to hard? Ugh why must I over think so much?

Alright we shall get him a White Chocolate Chip iced hot chocolate. That should be good. Classy, but a "we are friends for now" drink. Good enough.

After paying for the drinks, I start to head back to the office to see how the hottie is doing...oh frick did I just say that out loud??
