*Hermiones' POV*

I woke up today feeling more alone than ever, I looked around the dark hotel room letting out a small sigh before getting up. I went to the bathroom seeing my hair still in it's messy bun, and it honestly didn't look too bad. I smiled a bit before going and getting my make-up bag. I did my usual thin black eyeliner, with mascara, before adding down black eye-shadow. I sighed going back to my bag and pulling out my clothes, I pulled on my gray ripped up t-shirt, with dark wash jeans, my usual tie boots and my leather jacket. I sighed, grabbed my bag and broom walking out of the room and down to the front desk checking out. I took my bag tying it to my waist before hopping on my room and heading to the Dragon reservation. When I got there I saw Ginny, and Harry, walking around, I went over giving them a hug before pulling away and looking around trying to find Charlie.

"He's talking to Chance."

I looked at Ginny giving her a confused look.

"Who?"

"Charlie, that is who you're looking for isn't it?"

I sighed, walking away and going to Chance's trailer, I opened the door and walked in to see Charlie with his hand on Chance's neck. I looked at them shaking my head, Charlie looked at me and I knew that he was pissed.

"What's going on?"

Charlie sighed.

"This is none of your concern Hermione."

I walked over pulling him from Chance before looking at Chance.

"What is this about Chance?"

"You."

I gave him a confused look before looking at Charlie.

"What about me?"

"Well, I had made a comment about how good you looked on that Dragon yesterday, and how your ass looks in those tight jeans."

I smirked, shaking my head before letting my hands clutch into fists and making contact with his already bruised and broken nose. He bent over and I got next to his ear, before letting my angered voice come to him like nails on a chalkboard.

"Listen here boss, keep your eyes on my face, and your mouth shut. There's a way to treat a lady obviously your mother never taught you respect. I quit, I can do so much better than this job dealing with pricks like you all day, the Dragons have more respect than you do."

I stood up and walked out of the trailer, going over to my broom. I hoped on with Charlie, Harry, and Ginny following me back to the apartment, when we got there I went straight to my room and started packing. I sent a quick letter to Minerva letting her know that I will be there in a bit to discuss my position as Transfiguration professor. As I continued to pack there was a knock at my door, I opened it to see Charlie standing there leaning against the door frame. I sighed letting him in while I continued to pack, he walked to me taking my wrists in his hands and stopping my motions, I looked up at him and shook my head.

"Don't go, Hermione."

"I have to, come with me."

"I can't, my job, my life, my friends, they're all here."

I sighed.

"But your family, me, is back there, my home, your home, you could have a job there with me, and you know it. I love you Charlie and I won't nor can I force you to come with me, however if you stay you'll lose me, I love you."

With that I went to the living room before following Harry and Ginny to the spot. We apperated to Hogwarts and there stood Professor McGonagall with a smile on her face. She gave us a hug before pulling away and leading us up to the almost completed castle, as I walked down the hall memories flooded my mind. Good and bad came rushing back and I found myself missing this place ten times more than I ever thought I would. I took a deep breath walking into what used to be Dumbledore's office that now belongs to McGonagall. Harry, Ginny, and I sat down talking a bit before Harry was given the defense against the dark arts position. Ginny was offered the fly teachers position, and I of course the Transfiguration position that I of course take. Harry and Ginny also agreed to be the teachers, and I offered to work with Hagrid when it came to Dragon season. I was also offered the role as headmistress for the Gryffindor house that in no way could I pass up. When everything was said and our contracts were signed she showed us to our chambers and I of course just decided to stay there. I put my things away before taking a shower and getting ready for bed. I crawled under the covers and shook my head missing Charlie already.

*Charlies' POV*

When Harry, Ginny and I got back to the apartment I watched Hermione walk right to her room. I gave her a few moments before knocking on her door, I leaned against the door frame, she opened it letting me in. I watched as she went back to her things and continued to pack, I walked to her taking her wrists in my hands, she looked at me shaking her head.

"Don't go, Hermione."

"I have to, come with me."

I looked at her letting go of her hands, I thought for a moment.

"I can't, my job, my life, my friends, they're all here."

She sighed.

"But your family, me, is back there, my home, your home, you could have a job there with me, and you know it. I love you Charlie and I won't nor can I force you to come with me, just know that I love you."

I sighed and before I could say anything she was done packing and walking out of my apartment leaving my life. I went to the kitchen grabbing a beer and sitting on the couch thinking, I love Hermione, can I really just let her go like this? I want to be with her, I know that for sure, but am I willing to give up my dream job, my friends, and the life that I've made here for her? I finished my beer, throwing the bottle away, taking a shower hoping it would clear my head before going to bed. I just hope that I can figure this all out, and soon, before I lose her forever.
