Severus and I arrived at Spinners End late last night and headed straight to bed, although he did have enough time to tell me welcome me to my new home. I guess that means that when summer comes he wants me to move into his home with him. To be honest I couldn't be happier and can't wait to start my life with him, I looked over at him with a small smile coming to my face. I placed my hand on his bare chest pulling myself up a bit placing a soft kiss to his lips. I pulled away and watched as his bright stormy gray eyes opened and a smile came to his face. He rolled over hovering above me before connecting his lips to mine, I smiled into the kiss as he pulled away looking into my eyes.
"I think we should get up luv, I have a few early surprises for you."
I sighed, shaking my head.
"Severus, are you talking about gifts? I didn't get you anything, I didn't think we were doing gifts this year."
"It's alright, you just being here is gift enough, however I love you and while you say you don't need things I say that every woman deserves to be shown that she is special. So let's get up and start our morning things, we'll have breakfast, and spend the day relaxing while I shower you with love and devotion?"
"Do we really need to get dressed for you to show me love and devotion?"
He smirked, nodding his head.
"For today we do, now tonight will be a different story."
I sighed knowing that I wasn't going to win this one and getting out of bed.
"Alright, but I still don't like it, I feel bad, I mean I should've gotten you something."
"Hermione, I promise it's alright, I'm just happy that you agreed to be with me this holiday, please don't feel bad, I love you, the only gift I need this year is the gift of being with you."
I smiled nodding my head leaning up giving him a quick kiss, I pulled away and he smiled before getting out of bed. I sighed doing the same only deciding to go through my bag pulling out my clothes, and shoes for the day laying them out. I walked into the bathroom as Severus was walking out, I brushed my teeth, before putting my hair up in a comfortable messy bun. I sighed going back to the bedroom pulling on my clothes before my boots, I looked in the mirror and smiled a bit.

My clothes were simple and comfortable, a pair of black leggings, with a light gray sweater that was a bit longer in the back, with my brown combat boots, and a floral scarf. I knew that this was as good as it was going to get while I was on holiday, at least until Christmas. I went to the door pulling it open and walking downstairs to see Severus sitting in the kitchen with a cup of coffee. I walked over pouring myself a cup only to have Severus to come over wrapping his arms around my waist holding me close. I sighed with a small smile on my face leaning back into his chest. I looked around the kitchen a bit before turning, wrapping my arms around his neck and placing a small kiss to his lips. I pulled away and he smiled a bit leaning his forehead against mine, we just stood there reveling in the warmth of each other. I pulled away looking around knowing that I have no clue where anything is, or even how I found the kitchen.
