Tonight Severus and I are going out, we've finished all of our grading and have concluded that the year is over, now we get to go home soon. However we're not going anywhere until I get the chance to tell him that I'm pregnant which I hope to do tonight. I looked through my closet until I found a thigh length long sleeve burgundy dress, I hung it up on the outside of the closet before grabbing my black high heels. I set them on the ground before going to the bathroom and starting my routine to get ready for the night.

I curled my hair before pinning it back and pulling it to the middle part of my scalp lining it up to look like a low curly long bun. I then started with my make-up, I did a thick line of eyeliner on the top and a thin layer on the bottom using my usual black. When it came to my eye-shadow I did a reddish pink with a darker reddish around the light color, I added some mascara and added some red lipstick.

I smiled checking myself over once more before walking back to the main room to see Severus getting dressed, he gave me a small smile before going back to what he was doing. I grabbed my dress pulling it on before slipping into my shoes, I went to the bathroom checking everything over in the mirror before going to the main room to see Severus. I walked into the main room to see Severus standing there in a pair of dark jeans, with a white button up shirt, a vest matching his jeans, and a light goldish tie.

I cleared my throat making him turn to look at me, when his eyes met mine his glass slipped from his hand. I giggled, waving my wand and cleaning up the mess, he walked towards me taking my hand in his, he spun me around a bit before pulling me into his chest I smiled while he shook his head.
"You look stunning Hermione."
"Well you don't look so bad yourself."
He smiled, giving me a small kiss before pulling away looking into my eyes.
"Are you ready to go, we have reservations."
"Yeah we can go."
He smiled taking my hand in his, we walked out of our chambers waving our wands and sending out things to our home of Spinner's End. However when we got out of the school Severus apperated us, and when I finally caught my balance I sighed holding in my vomit. It's really not good for me to be apparating however I don't need to stop apparating until I'm two months along. I sighed looking around seeing that I was on a beautifully lit bridge in the middle of Hawaii, I smiled looking at Severus shaking my head before looking out over the beauty before me, I looked back at him.
"Severus, this is amazing, what's the occasion?"
"Does there have to be an occasion for me to spoil my wife?"
"I suppose not."
He chuckled, taking my hand in his.
"Let's go, there's this amazing restaurant that has the best wine."
He tried to walk away but I held him back, he looked at me giving me a confused look.
"Hermione what's wrong?"
"Nothing, I just have something that I wanted to tell you, and I was hoping we wouldn't be going too far from home."
He gave me a confused look.
"What? Do you not like this?"
"No, no, that's not it, I just, I have some news and I was hoping we'd be close to home is all."
"What's the news, is everything alright?"
"Yes, god, yes, it's good news I promise."
He came over wrapping his arms around my waist pulling me into his chest, I sighed taking a deep breath before looking into his stormy gray eyes.
"Now, my beautiful wife, what's the good news?"
"You're going to be a dad."
He smiled wrapping his arms tighter around me before lifting me from the ground in a spinning hug. I giggled as I felt my feet being placed back on the ground he pulled away connecting his lips to mine. I smiled against his lips before pulling away, he smiled shaking his head pulling away from me running his hands through his raven hair.
"I'm going to be a dad?"
I smiled, nodding my head.
"Yes, and I'm going to be a mom, we're going to be parents Severus."
"Wow."
My smile faded as I looked at him.
"Severus..."
He turned and looked at me.
"This is what you wanted right, you did want this with me?"
He looked at me like I was crazy.
"Of course I wanted this Hermione, I love you, and I love this baby, I want this with you more than anything else on this earth. I've always wanted a family, and the fact that I get to have it with you makes it all so much more worth wild. I love you Hermione, I love you with all my heart and I can't wait to have this with you, I can't wait to be a dad."
"I love you too Severus."
With that I gave him a kiss and he smiled against my lips before I felt us apperate, I sighed as we landed outside our home. I smiled looking at Severus, he smiled taking my hand in his as we walked into the house, I took a deep breath instantly relaxing knowing that I was home. Severus came up behind me lifting me from the ground carrying me upstairs to our room, I felt my back hit the soft covers and let a small yawn leave my lips. He chuckled, shaking his head before leaning down giving me a quick kiss before pulling away letting out a sigh. I opened my eyes and looked up at him before getting off the bed and pulling out one of his black t-shirts. I changed from my dress and high heels into the t-shirt before crawling back into bed with Severus. He wrapped his arms around me before placing a kiss on my belly before giving me one last kiss goodnight. I smiled before pulling away cuddling into his chest while he held me close before kissing my temple.
"You're going to be a mom."
I smiled looking up into his eyes nodding my head.
"You're going to be a dad."
He smiled, kissing my nose before holding me close, I soon fell asleep in his hold, loving every moment of it and being more than excited to see what the future has in store for us.
*Severus' POV*
As I laid in bed holding Hermione in my arms all I could think about was whether I would be a great dad or not. Whether I would turn out to be like my piece of shit ass hole of father, or if I would be my own form of a father. If I will be the father I always wanted to have for myself, if I'll be able to give my child the father it deserves, or if I'll ruin them like my father ruined me. I do know one thing though Hermione is nothing like my mother, she will fight for her kids and that is something that I hope she sticks to. I hope that if I do turn out to be like my piece of shit father she can protect them the way my mother should've protected me. I just hope that she never has to do that, I hope that she never has to protect our children from the one person that's supposed to protect them no matter what.
