14⚫️Enemy

Alice's POV

"Bye Ethan!" I called out as I closed the door. "Bye smol bean!" He called out, as I walked away from the house. I walked over to Starbucks and ordered a drink, sitting down, drinking my latte.

"Hey, sorry. Can I sit here? All the tables seem to be taken." A man asked.

"Oh sure, It's fine." I said looking up. He had very short hair, green eyes and he was very skinny. "So, whats your name?" He asked. "Alice." I replied looking up from my phone. "Jacob." He said holding out his hand. I shook it, taking time to study him, he did look shady"So you have a job?" I ask. "Yeah ,actually I work as a barista at Birch Coffee"He said.

"Do you have one?" He asked. "No." I sighed, looking up at the ceiling."Where do you live?" He asked. "Ages away from here, I actually came down here to visit, I live in Orlando. Just coming here to meet some friends." I lied. "Hey Jacob! What are you doing sitting with that skank over there?" Another man yell. "Excuse me?" I said standing up. "You heard me!" He approached me, and I dropped my drink. Samuel.  I ran. 

I got inside of Mark's house, panting, breaking down. "ETHAN! MARK!" I yelled, locking the door and having a panic attack. "Samuel... Here.... Friend... Fake information.... New.. Shady... Ran." I panted out. "What?!" Ethan and Mark exclaimed, they were also panicked. "Go outside in the backyard and hide in that secret spot." Ethan said pushing me out. 

BANG BANG BANG!

I ran outside, searching for the hole in pursuit. I finally found it and squeezed into it. "I SAW ALICE COME IN HERE!" "SHE LEFT! SHE'S GOING TO LEAVE IN TWO DAYS, who even are you?" Mark yelled about Samuel. I wish I had my phone... I thought about living with Ethan, there were still patches in memory though. "I'm her boyfriend!" He yelled at Mark. "I'm sorry sir, but she isn't here!" Mark argued.

"Let me search the house then!" I heard Samuel's voice, he was about to strike. "Fine!" Mark gave up and he obviously let him in.

Ethan's POV

I quickly finished making Alice's room look like she was packing. I quickly sped into my room, then Samuel stormed up. "Where's her room?" He growled, I innocently pointed to the room left to be. I pretended to not know who he was. "Mark! Who is this guy? Why is he looking in Alice's room?" I whispered shouted at Mark, making sure that Samuel heard me.

"He is Alice's friend I think." He shrugged, he was so good at acting. He stormed out searching everywhere for Alice. "See? Sorry sir, but she isn't here. She is leaving in two days so she is moving out tomorrow to her friends place. But I don't know where, why do you wanna know anyway?" Mark asked. "Because she was ex." He snarled. I gasped in surprise. "What?" He snarled, and clutched me by the neck of my shirt. "Get off me!" I yelled and hit his arm, so he let go.

"Don't do that." I glared at him. "Pfft, whatever midget." He scoffed, and turned to Mark. "I'm going to have to ask you to leave. Out." Mark said pointing to the door. "Whatever, I'm going to Orlando to find her! She won't escape me." He whispered the last bit,but we heard him anyway.

Alice's POV

As soon as I heard Samuel's motorbike drive away, I got out of the hole, covered in dirt. "Aw, shucks!" I said examining my outfit. Ethan and Mark came running out, "Are you okay?" Ethan asked examining me. "Yeah, did he believe the lies you told him?" I asked. He nodded, "Tell us what happened." "Well first of all, Mark.. I lied to you, I told Ethan the truth." I said guiltily. "I just didn't wanna scare you that bad.." I said sheepishly. "It's fine, just tell us what happened." He said.

"I lied to Jacob, because I knew he looked shady and I knew he wanted information for a certain reason." I explained and finished explaining the rest of the story to them.

"I'll make sure we lock all the doors, and make sure you don't go out alone until "you leave". We'll make sure to close the blinds, privacy so he doesn't see you and hurt you,"Ethan gulped.

"Or worse."

(A.N):Sorry that this chapter is shit and has been short,I'm sorry that it is both.If you guys have ideas that you want me to include,please leave them in the comments.Also I'm tossing up if I should make a PREQUEL not SEQUEL an PREQUEL and maybe a Squeal as well. I'm thinking about making it the story between Alice and Samuel, the sequel obviously having to do with Alice and Ethan.

I am trying to fit in Sean(Jack) and Singe in. I might say like a meet up at PAX? Maybe.... I also have a very big surprise at the end of the actual book. Like the chapters as in like the actual story, you know what I'm just confusing myself and you guys, xD. I don't really care if you leave hate, because everyone gets hate, it's a normal thing. No one, does not get hate. If they don't they must be a alien or some weird thing.

Anyway, I'm planning to do a Alternative ending with your choice, like 'If yes go to chapter [number]' 'If no, go to next chapter!' If you don't want me to do that then say that in the comments.
