I was waiting in the girls' toilets for the bell to ring, I came a bit early today.
The cubicles were light violet and they had mysterious brown patches on them. The tiles covering the walls were snow-white and super clean.
I was looking in the mirror, to check my makeup, when I heard the door open. I saw Luella Parkers walk in and I relaxed.
Luella Parkers is my best friend, we've been friends since reseption and we know everything about one another. Luella has been through everything with me and we are each others only friends, mainly because she has social anxiety and I just hate people. Most would call us weirdos..... and they're probably right. But our hidden weird sides are only for each other to see.
Luella has pale skin and dark, blonde hair down to her elbows. Her eyes are narrow and violet. Unusual, I know, but they are actually bright violet.
Anyway, her eyes are violet and she has bags under eyes, as well as laugh lines so I let her borrow my concealer. Luella is a bit heavier than me but I am like a twig so she could still be a model, especially at her height.
"Hey honey." She said cheerily, "Can I get some concealer on these wrinkles?"
Yes, she is always this happy. And her parents are pretty overprotective so she sneaks out.
"Course." I answered quite gloomily.
Luella looked at my direction, studying my reactions while I tried to keep a straight face, I don't want to burden her with my problems all the time.
"Alright Queen!" She shouted, abruptly stopping me. "What is going on honey?" She said slightly gentler.
"Nothing." I mumbled.
"Nothing? Really? Is that the best you can do?"
"Well what do you want me to say?!" I bellowed.
"The truth!" She said twice as loud.
"Fine, I can never keep anything from you."
"Why would you want to?"
"Luella...I don't know how to say this so I'm just going to blurt it out."
Luella slowly nodded, her expression urging me to continue.
"I...I failed a mission yesterday."
Luella's sharp expression softened, she looked away, at her watch.
"Want to tell me? We can skip first lesson?" Luella asked.
Her offer did seem really tempting, this wouldn't be the first time we've skipped class, we do it when we feel like it, not too often but we do misbehave a lot.
"Fine, you got me." I laughed.

We went to a local café near the school, we'll make it for second lesson.
"As you know," I began, "I need money since... you know... so I am a hitman. Or woman, whatever you want to call it. Anyway, I had to shoot a human trafficker, Anderson Garcia. I was on top of a parallel tower to his and I aimed a gun to him... and then I felt a push. My heart was bursting out of my chest as I lost my balence-"
"OMG! Honey, you alright?" Luella gasped.
"Yes, but that's not even it." I said, "As I felt myself fall... a young man caught me... by the waist. He pulled me up to his chest and I saw him. He was so unbelievably hot. He apologised and then I found out that some idiot sent two assassins to this mission, the stranger and me. He killed Garcia and I felt like a failure."
"Sweetie..." Luella started.
She tried to finish that sentance but she ended up speachless.
"Let's just enjoy the coffee and go to second lesson eh?" She quickly snapped, looking down at her tea.
"Sorry I dragged you into my problems." I said.
"Are you kidding me honey?" Luella said excitedly, "This is so cool!" She gasped.
I laughed and felt soothed.
