"How could you?" I cried in disbelief.
"I panicked! What was I supposed to do?" Vanessa sobbed, tears falling all over her face.
"Why did you go and not tell me in the first place? You know I'm an assassin!" I shouted.
"I hate being treated like a baby you know." Vanessa said with the roll of her eyes.
"Then stop acting like one!"
"Babies don't kill, like me."
My tone imedeatly soften does she think she's a killer because of a stupid mistake? I hope she can realise it's not her fault.
"It was an accident, from what you told me anyway." I said gently.
"It was! Don't you believe me?!" Vanessa said, tears pooling in her eyes.
"Don't turn this on me! You're the one who killed someone!"
Vanessa scoffed, "Like you don't do it every single day."
"It's my job! Maybe you should try and make one some day, instead of living off your parents' money!"
Vanessa gasped and turned away from me.
"That was a bit below the belt," I whispered, "I'm sorry."
"Yeah, well me too." Vanessa said, passive aggressively.
"Breathe, and slowly explain to me about what happened. I need to understand the severity of this sicuation."
"Severity?" Vanessa squeaked, "How bad could it get?"
She lowered her shoulders in a jerking manner, fiddling with her hand nervously.
"Yes?" I said calmly.
"Well," She took a deep breath and looked at me, "Last night I felt like going out, like the good old days, before n..."
She paused before saying His name.
"Yeah! So I was getting ready and there was a big clump of hair that was terribly knotted, I don't know what I was thinking, but I shaved it off with my father's old razer."
Vanessa caressed her shaved head and looked down before continuing the story of last night.
"I put on a tight dress...it was extravagantly beautiful...honestly. I was tired of the new me, I hated it, so I went out alone like I used to. And I tried to get lucky - like I used to." Her voice was quietened quickly, "I met this guy and I fell for him quick. It was like 4:00am when he took me home."
Tears pricked Vanessa's eyes as she was talking, she closed her eyes and went on.
"I thought he was just being a gentlemam. Hell, I even invited him in, I was being such a slut-"
"No you weren't!" I shouted suddenly, interrupting her.
"Anyway," Vanessa said glaring at me. "I told him that I was going to get dressed in something more comfortable, but I was actually going to put on some sexy lingerie. I was completely nude when he came in. He told me to.."
Vanessa was fully crying, this was obviously hard for her, she couldn't even look me in the eyes.
"He told me to relax, I was worrying. But nothing beat the fear I felt when he pushed me onto the bed. He..he raped me. When he was...when he was finished with me he started walking out the door. Before he did though, I smashed a bottle onto his head. Then I beat him to death with a rolling pin in the kitchen."
Vanessa stopped abruptly and broke down in tears.
"I'm a monster aren't I? I killed him." Vanessa begged me to be honest.
"No, you shouldn't have killed him, but there's nothing we can do. He's dead. But at least you got rid of a criminal." I shrugged.
I know I'm terrible at comforting people, you don't gotta tell me more than once since it's so obvious. But I was being honest and I think Vanessa will appreciate that factor.
"Well...I guess, when you put it like that. Thanks."
See what I mean. I guess I'm not that bad, eh? Ha! I'm like the nicest person in the world.
"Hang on!" Vanessa said suddenly.
"Sup?" I responded casually.
"You and Noah weren't dating!"
I visibly whinced at His name. Why is she randomly bringing him up into a totally different conversation.
"Yeah?" I was waiting for her to just get to the point.
"You told me you loved him! LIER!"
"I DO LOVE HIM! HOW DARE YOU QUESTION MY LOVE FOR HIM! HOW DARE YOU!" I shouted, letting me furiy loose. I'd finally found my voice. How could she?
"But you guys weren't in a romantic relationship which means you couldn't of loved him." Vanessa's voice quivered in the shadow of my mini rant.
"I do!" I screamed, "I just didn't have the guts to tell him when he was alive." I whispered.
Tears started running all down my cheeks and clinging for life on my chin.
"But when he was alive he told me something!" I jabbed my finger in Vanessa's face.
"What?" Vanessa demanded spitefully.
"He told me that he hated his family and that he hated you!"
Maybe that's a lie. He did tell me that he hated his parents but he loved his sister dearly. Oh god! What have I done?
I have just ruined the relationship between a brother and sister.
"What?"
Vanessa broke down in tears and I wanted to hug her but I knew I had to stay strong. She deserves this for al she said about my love for Him.
I turned to the door and strutted out of Vanessa's trashed house.Hey guys! Long time, no talk. I have missed you all so much, sorry this chapter made you wait a while but there have been so many exams going on reseantly, it's just been crazy.
Anyway, what do you all think of the new world and what do you think of the little arguement between Queen and Vanessa you've just witnessed? Please tell me somehow.
Bye, hear from me next time I update my story.
