Btw, I drew that mermaid up there, with photoshop, I hope you like it because it took me one and a half hours.
It's quite ironic but right now, I'm listening to Alisha Keys' song, New York. Funny but real talk, I love this song too much, even if it's like seven years old or something."This puts things into perspective."
I was still quite confused, when I told Vanessa about Luke she just started talking a bunch of gibberish, making no sense.
"Vanessa please just tell me what you are talking about." I begged.
"Let's kill Luke Walker." Vanessa smirked.
"Now you're talking!" I exclaimed. "Let's get shipped off to Texas then." I said a bit more casually.
"What? Texas!" Vanessa gasped.
"Yeah, come on!" I said, pulling her arm while throwing a waud of cash on the table to pay for our coffees.
"B-b-but why such short notice? And money! And weapons!"
"Don't even worry about, I got it all sorted. We'll meet at yours in an hour, be ready to go, bring black clothes, must be practical and leave everything else to me." I said before disappearing out the door."Why are we here?" Vanessa asked, gesturing to the airport field I had dragged her to.
"Well," I said, fanning myself in an attempt to look sexy, "When you look like me and have $600 you can get a private jet to anywhere in the world."
"No way! Bribery?"
"At its finest."
"Well Queen, $600 is actually quite cheep."
"Well I wouldn't know, I've never been on a holiday, the time I go on a plane is when it's paid for including a job."
"Really?" Vanessa was gobsmacked. "You poor th-"
"Please do not pity me Vanessa, it's undermining." I snapped but Vanessa nodded her head in agreement and guilt which is not really what I wanted.
We got on the plane and soon we were soaring through the air at unbelievable speeds.
"This jet is actually much nicer than I'd expected," Vanessa said like she'd just discovered the cure for cancer, clue, she hadn't.
"I can get around you know Vanessa, you're acting as if I'm a charity case!" My tone harshened.
"If you had listened Queen, you would have realised that I was talking about the jet and didn't mention your name at all."
"Well why do you need to compare unless you're surprised with how I can afford it."
Vanessa sighed loudly before offering me a truce.
"Let's not fight now Queen we are about to do something quite stupidly irresponsible and I would like to be in the correct head space if you don't mind." Vanessa said.
I sighed and nodded in agreement. As my feet hit the streets of Texas, I felt the cramps caused by a terribly long plane ride fade away.
The warm Texas air hit my face as I paced along the streets filled with offices and skyscrapers. Most of the buildings were fancy but I knew that if we kept walk a certain direction then we'd find some cheap motel for a couple nights.
"How long are we going to stay here for? Before we kill Luke Walker?" Vanessa asked, struggling to keep up with my pacing.
"I am hoping to only stay here for a maximum of a week before we should get back, I have a mission," I quickly added.
"Don't you think that this is a bit more important, I mean we're getting rid of the man behind Noah's death." Vanessa exclaimed, running behind me with worries.
"Vanessa!" I shouted, holting in the middle of the busy streets of Texas. "I got it all sorted, alright?" I said calming my nerves enough to continue walking.
"Alright," Vanessa snorted.
After a fast paced chase (not really, it just seemed that way because of how fast I was walking) we made it to a rundown part of Texas, quite near to the bignoffice buildings, and I knew that Luke would be hiding in one of those.
"Here we are." I said walking into a pretty shitty motel room.
I am used to both, glamorous and shit because lf all of my jobs, it's pretty good because I've been all pver the world. I've even been in the Burgqulifa (I can't spell, sos) because of all the missions I get sent on, safe to say I have a pretty broad horizon.
"It's terrible!" Vanessa gasped like she was some city girl, "I've never been in such a bad place, so unheigenic (did tell you I can't spell) and gross!"
"Gey used to it princess, this is the place of work, you can't leave here without my direct concent, yes?" I said like a teacher.
"Yep." Vanessa snapped too quickly.
Vanessa has always been like a caged bird, give her a beautiful place and within thirty minutes she'll have explored the whole place, she is so wondrous and ot sometimes is a bad thing.
"Right." I coughed nervously, looking out to the city that I will soon paint red.Hey guys! Hope you didn't mind my few notes telling you how dumb I am, the noyes were honest though, I really lack the brainpower of spelling.
This was a fun to write this chapter bit I must warn you all, I have never been to Texas before, never in my life.
I still have very few in my fan base butI hope that changes soon.
Was it the spelling that scared them all?
Anyway, see ya'll later, bye!😴😴😴
