A Mistake

Sorry it took so long to update I've been very busy but I'll try and update faster I know I hate waiting for updates.

Annabeth's POV

"Thank you so much Aphrodite I don't know how I could ever repay you." I said as I looked in the mirror. I looked and sounded just like Thalia. I heard about Luke's little set up for them two. I didn't want that happening. I'm going to get the date I well deserved. I have waited a long time for this.

"Well dear are you sure you want to do this, I mean would you have wanted someone doing this to you?" She said

"He will be mine and I don't care what the cost is."

"Well if he finds out it's you he'll definently not like you. He has changed he doesn't like some of the same things anymore and that includes you."

"NO HE LOVES ME AND I KNOW IT!"

"Listen to your self dear this love for Percy is clouding your brain."

"No. It's. NOT! You don't get what it's like to have someone you love fall for another girl. It's happened TWICE!!! TWICE!!! Once with Rachel and now Thalia I'm done with this klunk." I said. Aphrodite then snickered. "WHAT?!" I said

"Ladies don't use the word klunk."

"I could always use an alternative but I promise you, you won't like that one any better."

"Fair enough. Now I must be on my way. See you tomorrow when I change you back."

"Goodbye" I said and with that she was gone. Now, I have a date to sabatoge.

"Hey Luke I'm ready." I said

"Your going to have a lot of fun on your date Thals just wait I have a special guy planned for you." he said and I made a grin

"I'm sure you do I can't wait to meet him." I said

"Are you feeling ok?" he asked

"Yeah, why?"

"Well normally your more questionable now your just going along with things. Are you sure your fine?" he asked. He was onto me.

"Yeah I'm fine. You don't think I'm ok if I don't ask questions huh Luke? Don't you think that gets boring? Then in the end you hardly ever get what you want and end up even more confused than before."

"It was just a question." he said

"Well maybe you should stop asking questions Luke and just start agreeing to things."

"Well geez your starting to sound like Annabeth." he said. With those words I lost it. I attacked him and started punching him. He tried to get up but couldn't I had him. I went for a knockout blow but then Percy appeared in the doorway. He looked at me and horror struck hos face as well as anger and sadness.

"Wow Annabeth, I expected more from you but killing Luke that's where I draw the line."

"Percy? You aren't supposed to be here and how'd you know that it was me?"

"I wasn't sure until you just confirmed it." he said "But I did assume by the way you talked and reacted. I also saw you knock over the real Thalia and shove her in a bag and throw her in the dining hall."

"Styx" I muttered

"Yeah now we're going to take this sort of problem to the gods and let them decide your fate."

"Please like they'd listen to you."

"Trust me I know they will." He said and then a seagreen smoke formed around us.

We appeared in the throne room of the gods and they welcomed Percy.

"Why Percy what is it?" Athena asked

"Well Athena, I walked in on your daughter Annabeth trying to kill Luke Castellan." There were collective gasps and then Percy made me look like myself again.

"I-I can explain!" I said

"No need we have heard enough Percy wouldn't lie. Annabeth Chase, you are forever banished to the pits of Tartarus to suffer eternal concequences for what you've done." Zeus announced "All those in favor?" he asked and everyone raised their hand. I started to plead and cry begging them not to banish me there. They wouldn't budge though.

"No. No! NO! You can't do this!" I said through tears and then there was a blast I was going.

Then I sat up in shock. It was all just a very bad dream.

"Do you see what you would do if you went through with this?" Aphrodite said she was sitting in the chair next to my bed.

"Th-that was all a dream?" I said

"Yes now do you still want to go through with faking being Thalia?"

"No not at all." I said firmly.

"Then let Thalia out of that bag so she can get to her date." Aphrodite said

"Ok, but can you change me back I want to make it seem like I saved her."

"Fine but only because you were doing those actions out of love." she said and I changed back to my old curly blonde haired self. I ran over to Bunker 9 and went inside. There was Thalia's bag right in the middle. I heard her yelling for help so I walke over and tried to act suprised.

"Oh my gods! Thalia is that you?" I said

"Annabeth?! Help me please!" She said. I walked over and took the keys and unlocked the lock and untied the bag.

"Thanks Annabeth. You'll never believe it someone attacked me and tied me up and put me in here. Now I've probably missed my blind date." she said

"Your welcome," I said "now you get to Luke and go on that date." I said. She then hugged me.

"Thanks Annabeth I don't know what I'd do without you." She said. I pulled back and she ran for the Chaos Cabin. She did almost trip once on her dress. Now I felt bad for trying to prevent this. She was really looking forward to this. I just- I just want Percy to be happy. I guess if he can't be happy with me Thalia would do good for him. I just hope they enjoy their date.

"Good luck Thalia!" I yelled after her.

"Thanks!" She yelled and dissapeared out of the woods.
