A/N Hello everyone! Thank you reading my series of one shots, it really means a lot to me! I know a lot of them is of Todoroki... what can I say... he's a favourite of mine, hehe.

It makes me so happy that there are actually people out there reading and commenting on something which I've made. Thank you ^-^ 

Now, onto the chapter!!!!

In this one-shot you are a childhood friend of Izuku's. This takes place before the UA entrance exams.

I sit at home. I stare at my textbooks from which I will have to study from by tomorrow. Why do I procrastinate so much?? :( 

I have a test tomorrow, but I haven't actually studied yet. I really need to. But I really don't want to as well. But I NEED TO.

I kept arguing with myself while my playlist sang on in the background when I reached for my phone. I texted Izuku:

Hey, you studied for that test tomorrow yet?

I sang along to my compilation of favourite songs (A/N comment your favourite songs/artists?) and soon received a reply from Izuku.

Ofc, I need to do well even in tests like these if I want to be a hero :)

Why, haven't you revised yet?

I don't know how to reply. 

(Y/N), didn't you say you wanted to get into UA? They're really tough on things like this, pls study. Your quirk is so cool, imagine being a hero with it!! Wahhh

I did really want to be a hero, I dreamed of it since I was a kid. Hearing Izuku compliment my quirk made my heart sting a little. It kind of hurt to hear your best friend talk about how great your quirk is when you know that he doesn't have one, even though he probably wants one the most out of everyone in the country.

I was about to reply when I saw the lengthy text Izuku sent me about the advantages and disadvantages I had in battle. 

I laughed to myself and sent:

Alright, bossy pants, I'll start studying now. 

I'd be lying if I said I never had a tiny crush on Izuku. He's been my friend for so long, I couldn't imagine my life without him. 

I put my phone down and tried to concentrate. I can't let my laziness get the best of me.

Izuku told you to study, so STUDY, I thought to myself.

I'm just gonna grab a snack first.

TIMESKIP TO A WEEK LATER

We got our papers back. I got an A! I was a pretty good student, believe it or not, despite my laziness. I know I procrastinate a lot, but I get stuff done, even if that means full power sonic flash mode at 1am.

"Izuku! Izuku! I got an A!" I ran to Izuku's desk holding my paper tightly and a big smile on my face.

Izuku returned my grin and said, "Good job, (Y/N), I knew you could do it." He gave me that gentle smile which I never got tired of seeing all these years and could always make me feel better.

"It's 'cause you pushed me to work, Izuku," I told him. Then my body moved without permission from my brain and I kissed Izuku on the cheek.

(Y/N). WHAT DID YOU DO. I thought to myself.

I stood back with wide eyes and a shocked expression. Well, Izuku was probably more shocked. His face was a burning red and I could have sworn smoke was coming off him.

"Uh- sorry! I wasn't thinking! I didn't mean to! I know you probably don't feel that way.."

"Oh, no!" Izuku sputtered out, his hands waving in front of him, "it's not that, I was surprised, that's all." Then he turned away from me and hid his face and started muttering like he always did. "Icantbelieveshejustkissedmehasshelikedmeallthistimedoessheknowthativelikedherallthistime-"

"Um, Izuku? Are you okay?" I still felt really awkward.

Izuku then gathered up his courage and stood straight, "Yes! I just really like you too, (Y/N)!" he half-yelled with his eyes closed.

Well that really threw me off. But I quickly thought about what just happened, and teased, "you know, I didn't actually say I liked you...." 

Izuku's face went pale and became the image of regret when I quickly said, "I'm just kidding, I really like you too," and grabbed him in a hug.

After a second or two, I heard him give an airy laugh and felt him bring his arms to hug me too.

Classmate's POV

I was walking back into the classroom from break when I saw Midoriya and (Y/N) hugging. 

"TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH"
