How can losing someone even be considered beautiful?
Death is such a painful
experience yet people,
say that the most painful
things are beautiful.

Heart aching, he sobbed his eyes bloodshot and lips dry. She always did say, that the world wasn't perfect. That not everything is beautiful, yet he didn't listen.

Instead, he went through the pain first hand as, he stared at the grave before him.

A stone...that's all it was adorned with flowers...yet to him it was more. It was her resting place.

His best friend's resting place.

He knew that she was made of stardust, a beautiful person inside and out. A beautiful person, who knew that she as going to leave him.

That day she had asked about interior and exterior beauty, because she knew that because of her cancer she would lose her hair. Her cancer didn't get to that stage though...she left earlier due to a heart attack...

Suddenly, once she left everything became clear to him.

Not everything was beautiful, but that didn't mean that there weren't beautiful things. There were- he just had to find them and embrace the beauty.

A last tear slid down his cheek, as he remembered her last words to him.

"In life, there will always be things we have to see and endure. Not all of them will you find beautiful. Not all of them, will you have the strength to call beautiful."

And that's the end guys.
