No matter what race, gender or sexuality you are, we're all people. We're all diamonds in the rough aren't we?

Both a girl and a boy stood, hands intertwined as an older couple berated them. The boy had dark skin, whilst the girl had pale. He had straight hair, she had curly. He had hazel, she had brown.

He thought, they looked beautiful together.

A match made in heaven.

It was only when, he got closer did he hear, why they were being reprimanded.

"How dare you hold this tramp's hand! I told you to stop seeing this social vermin, yet to keep meeting him behind my back!"

A tear slid down the girl's cheek.

"But I love him Grandma! Grandfather why can't you see either? We love each other, how does it matter if we are of a different race?"

"Because it's disgusting!"

The elderly couple, just yelled at her before dragging their granddaughter away, leaving the boy all by himself. When, he saw that the boy was crying he made his way over, his own eyes brimming with unshed tears.

"Don't cry I think your skin is beautiful just like you are."

In an attempt to comfort the boy, he complimented him only to which the boy whispered.

"I thought my skin was beautiful as well...but it obviously isn't if it prevents me, from being with the person I love."

Then he ran away, tears running down his cheeks, leaving him with shaking hands, his blonde hair falling into his blue eyes.

But...I thought everyone had their own beauty....
