“You sure you’re ready for this?” Cindy Duncan said. “Cindy, I got this.” Sasha Mercado said. Cindy sighed, “Cocky aren’t you?” Sasha laughed, “Not cocky Cindy, confident.” Cindy bid Sasha goodbye. Sasha cruise down Kent Street towards
the training center. Once there, she checked in and sat in the waiting room. “Good morning maggots I’m Kyle Mansfield and I’m be your guide for today.” Some groans sounded in the tight room. “FIRST RULE OF BUSINESS, DON’T EVER GROAN IN FRONT OF ANY OFFICIAL, DO YOU HEAR ME CADETS?” Kyle screamed. “Sir yes sir.” “Good then. Proceed to the buses.” Kyle said. “Your six months of boot camp starts now.” Sasha sighed as the bus rolled on. Once there, Kyle tossed them to the senior officials. “Instructor Mansfield, do they all know the rules and procedures of the camp?” Lieutenant Sara Strong said. “Yes ma’am they do.” “Very well then,” Sara said. “You may go Instructor Mansfield.” Kyle saluted her before turning on his heel and driving the bus back to Camden Heights. “ATTENTION! LET’S GET MOVING MAGGOTS!” Sara said. Sasha ran as she begin a long hard journey of boot camp. “MOVE MAGGOT! MOVE!” Sergeant Tyler Colden said to another cadet. They
were doing the obstacle course. Sasha had just finished the tire trail and now she was about to climb the tower of fear. Rope after rope looped the wall as Sasha climbed fast. Once down, she made her way towards the final obstacle, the mud field. Sasha scratched and crawled her way through the mud fighting through the pain as loops of barbwire clawed her face and hands before making it to the finished line. “GOOD
WORK MERCADO.” Sergeant Colden said. “SEE MAGGOTS, THAT’S HOW YOU GET THE JOB DONE.” More groans sounded as the other cadets began to develop a certain jealous against her. “So these other cadets envy you?” Cindy said. “They sure do,” Sasha said. She had called Cindy
to keep her posted. “Wow girl, that’s a shame,” Cindy said. “But you’re tough Sasha. I know that for a fact. You’re a fighter and before you know it, you’ll be on the force. Hang in there girl okay?” “Thanks Cindy. That’s just the motivation I need during these six months here.” “Anytime girl.” Cindy said and then she hung up. Sasha sighed as hung the phone back on the wall and walked back to her room. “Hey showoff!” Adrienne Peters said. Sasha turned, “What do you want?” “You think you something because you pass all the
challenges, but deep inside, I think you’re scared.” Adrienne said. Sasha scoffed, “I’m scared of you? No Adrienne, I intimidate you so much that you can’t even handle it.” Adrienne stalked over slapping Sasha. “Say something slick again hoe. Say something so I can knock your face in.”
Sasha laughed touching her cheek. “I’ll like to see you try… bitch.” Adrienne snapped connecting with a weak blow to the face. Sasha’s eyes narrowed with rage as she fired back with a hard solid blow to the face. A crowd form around them
as both girls traded blows with each other. Adrienne kept trying to slap Sasha every chance she got, but Sasha saw it coming every time. Sasha punched, uppercut, and boxed Adrienne who’s lip busted, jaw cracked as blood and teeth
flew out and eyes black and swollen. Suddenly, whistles started to blow as guards charged through the doors and crowd to separate the two girls. Sasha had a fistful of Adrienne’s hair as the guards grabbed her. Adrienne screamed as Sasha uppercut and dragged her. More guards stormed in as Adrienne tried to do the same to Sasha, but her punches were too weak, while Sasha’s were like a homerun. Eventually, the guards were finally able to separate the two girls. Both of Adrienne’s eyes were swollen and black, her bottom lip bloody and busted and her jaw and teeth were cracked and chipped. She screamed as she was being pulled away. “THIS AIN’T OVER BITCH! I’LL GET YOU NEXT TIME! YOU’LL SEE!” Sasha on the other hand, looked flawless. She had a tiny scratch across her eyebrow and slight bruises to her cheeks where Adrienne’s slaps had connected. She laughed as she was dragged away. “NO BITCH! YOU COME AT ME AGAIN; I’LL MAKE SURE TO BREAK SOMETHING ELSE ON YOU!” Adrienne screamed again as the crowd diminished. Adrienne was taken to the local hospital for x-rays and stitches, but her punishment was decided. Since she started the fight, she had to spend six more months in boot camp. Adrienne protested, but to no avail. “THAT’S MY FINAL JUDGMENT!” General Hall had
said to her. “LIEUTENANT STRONG AND SERGEANT COLDEN, BRING IN CADET MERCADO!” Sasha sat in General Henry Hall’s office with fourteen stitches over her left eyebrow as she awaited her punishment. “I’m very impressed with your work here Cadet, but I will not tolerated no fighting. Since, Cadet Peters started the brawl; your punishment shall be lent. You’re off the hook for now, but a month from now, report here for your marks.” General Hall said. Sasha thanked him then she escorted to her room. Word had gotten around that Sasha had gotten off the hook, while Adrienne is set to endure six more months of boot camp. “Serves her right.” Some cadets said. “She started the whole brawl.” Another said. A month later, Sasha’s six-month journey had ended. Adrienne looked on with the new cadets glaring angrily at Sasha who chuckled. “Cadet Mercado,” General Hall said as Sasha stood in front of him. “I would like to send my congrats on completing the boot camp process here at Fort Mills Military School.” Applause ran through the crowd. “And I would also like to congratulate you on making the Hollywood Hills Police Squad.” Sasha saluted him knowing she just enter a crazy new world.
