B) Stop! Throwing the rock might only make it aggressive. It might attack them and grow angry.

August's POV

"Stop!" I whipped my head to the side as my sister pulled my arm back. I stared at her in confusion as she held my arm back from throwing the stone at the creature. "Look, it's not aggressive. You'll only make it angry, let's go!"

She pulled me off and began racing through the forest. I shone the phone torch onto the path ahead and saw my breath turn into mist. It's really cold. We won't last long like this.

"Shit!" I swore as the phone died and we became stranded in total darkness. I tightened my grip around Ellie's hand. I have no idea what to do.

"It's fine, we'll find a way out... somehow..." my sister whispered and I could barely make out her small silhouette in the dark forest. How the hell are we going to see anything here?

Both of us jumped as we heard a bark somewhere not to far off. Ellie hugged my arm closer to herself. Either to protect me or herself, I wasn't sure anymore. She is shaking.

I sighed and moved closer to her, wrapping her in one of my signature bear hugs. She'd usually pull away, but this time she just held on closer. "It's okay, don't worry. I'm sure that... dog, is docile. It didn't attack us, right?" I gave a nervous laugh and she just nodded.

We stood in silence for a bit, shaking, until we heard footsteps approaching. Both of us turned around to see a light shine through the dense thicket.

"Hey, you two! What are you doing here?!"

A) We're saved! Run for the man with the torch.

B) Stay there, don't move. God knows who this man is.

C) RUN! WE DON'T KNOW YOU, STRANGER DANGER MUCH!
