IM GOING TO CHICAGO TO SEE THE BOYS SATURDAY! Lemme know if you're attending :) MWAH my lovelies.

I stood on the balcony shivering slightly at the pre winter weather. I’ve been staring at Niall’s mobile for what seems like ages trying to gather the courage to dial Danielle’s number.

I raked my free hand through my hair and sighed. It’s now or never Liam… I pushed the familiar buttons and held the phone to my ear while it rang.

“Hello?” Danielle answered groggily. I completely forgot about the time difference. Looking at my watch I noted it was only 3 am in London. Oops…

          “Hey Dani its Liam.”

“You’re ready to talk now? At 3 o’clock in the morning…” She snapped.

“I’m sorry it’s so early, but it shouldn’t take long.” I mumbled.

“What do you mean?” She asked hesitantly.

          “Listen Danielle…”

“Just get to it Liam, we both know what this is.”

“Dani you know it’s been different. We’ve changed…”

“No Liam, there isn’t any we; it’s you who’s changed.” She said coldly.

“You know full well that’s a lie, the Danielle I knew wouldn’t have thrown herself at some random guy. Not while I’ve spent the past few months doing nothing but trying to keep this relationship together. So let’s be truthful and just end it, neither of us wants this any more.”

“You know what you’re right Liam, I don’t want this any more. I guess we’re over…” She said harshly and then the line went dead. I slowly pulled the phone away from my ear and took in the past couple of minutes. Danielle and I had broken up, and surprisingly I was sort of okay. I mean yeah it’s upsetting… I loved her and she broke my heart but I know that this was right.

I sighed and walked back into the hotel. All of the guys were sitting around the living room with worried looks on their faces. Once they heard me come in their heads snapped in my direction.

“Catch mate,” I threw Niall his phone and he caught it mid air.

“So how’d it go?” He asked sliding his phone back into his pocket.

“Well, she didn’t take it very well… She was proper pissed.”

“What did you expect?” Zayn asked.

“Maybe tears, not as much of the anger… she said I’ve changed.” I said looking at the ground. Have I changed? A lot has happened in the past two years… is it possible that I’m turning into a person I swore I’d never be?

“Mate she’s mental if she thinks you’ve changed… You’re a great guy Liam and no one is as humble as you are.” Louis insisted firmly.

“Lou’s right Liam, you haven’t changed at all…People say hurtful things when they’re angry s’all.” Harry added on.
