The Avengers all wore identical expressions of shock on their faces.

I said, "You guys ok?"

Tony said, "Yeah. Just not used to seeing anybody with real wings. They are real right?"

I said, "Yes they are real. They are as much a part of me as my arms."

I could tell they were all bursting with questions.

Natasha said, "Boys hold back on the questions for now. We should probably see what else she can do before we ask any more questions."

Steve said, "Natasha is right."

The next hour was spent working out in the training area. I trained with all of the Avengers. They wanted to find out just how strong, fast, and smart I was. To be honest it was fun to be able to let loose and see what I was capable of without having to be afraid of exposing my identity. First I raced Steve.

I stepped up to the starting line on the indoor track. Steve stepped up next to me. The rest of the Avengers were watching us eagerly. Steve and I got in our starting position. Natasha blew the whistle to signal the start of the race. Steve and I took off running. At first I easily kept pace with Steve. Steve looked surprised at how fast I was. I don't think he expected me to keep up with him. Yet I was still holding back. I looked over at Steve and smirked. For the first time in a long time I truly ran as fast as I could. I let all my pent up frustration fuel me. I unleashed all the frustration I felt at being unable to do anything to save my people. I was so caught up in my thoughts that i didn't realize how fast I was going. I looked to my left to see that I was moving so fast that the rest of the world was a blur. Then with a shock I realized that I was about to run straight into a wall. With reflexes I didn't know I had I turned around just in time to avoid hitting the wall. I tried to come to a stop, but I misjudged how fast I was going and tripped. I fell and slammed into a wall.

Steve ran over to me worried. He helped me to my feet.

Steve said, "Are you ok Alex?"

I said, "I am ok.That's gonna give me a nasty headache, but other than that I'll be fine."

Clint said, "Damn you're tough."

I said, "Ok. So what is next?"

Tony said, "Now that we know how fast you are let's figure out how strong you are."

Next I lifted weights for a while. Tony would bring out weights and the entire team would try to lift them. The weights kept getting heavier and heavier until only Thor and I could lift them. Eventually I had to give in. I set the weight down with a sigh.

I sighed, "I thought I could do better."

Tony said, "You should be impressed. Those weights weighed two tons. Each. Even Capsicle can only lift one ton."

I said, "Our last queen." I paused. "My mother. Could lift over seven of your tons. So I still have a while to go."

Clint said, "You should be impressed because I am. Who knew a little pipsqueak like you could be so tough."

Tony said, "Tweety Bird is right. You can lift four tons. And to top that of you can run at around 200 miles an hour. That is pretty darn impressive for a Pipsqueak. Thanks Tweety Bird I like that. Alex you are now Pipsqueak."

I said, "Wait I know this. I think. How do humans say this? Small things come in big. No wait that can't be right. Big things. Big. Big. I got it! Big things come in small packages!"

I said, "That is correct, right?"

Natasha said, "Yes that's right Alex."

I jumped up in the air excited that I finally got a reference right. Natasha and I high fived. Maybe there was hope for me after all. I might just be able to fit in here. I got really excited and high fived the rest of the Avengers.

I said, "What do you have in the way of weapons?"

Tony said, "If you can think of it I have it."

Tony walked over to the close wall

Tony walked over to the close wall. He pushed a button. A hidden panel opened revealing a whole wall of various weapons. A pair of long elegant swords caught my attention. I immediately grabbed them off the wall. I twirled them around in my hands a couple times with expert precision. I instinctively went through some fighting positions. It had been so long since I had wielded these weapons. After I was finished we walked out of the gym and headed into the living room.

Tony said, "So can I ask questions now? I am about to burst."

I said, "Go on."

Tony said, "So how long have you had your wings?"

I said, "The grew in on my sixth birthday. It hurt like hell."

Natasha said, "Wait you said the wings were only traits of a queen. So that means."

I said, "Yes I've known that I am the heir since then. That is a big secret though, so please don't tell anyone."

Clint said, "Where did you learn how to wield katanas?"

I said, "What?"

Clint said, "The swords you grabbed off the wall."

I said, "Oh those. We call them adin quishads on my planet. That translates roughly to blades of the warrior. Only the royal line is allowed to train with them. After my wings grew in I started training with them. I quickly became a master with the adin quishads or katanas as you call them."

The rest of the next hour was spent with the Avengers asking me questions. We really got to know each other. It was the first time in a long time where I felt like I was in a family again. Steve was like my overprotective brother. Tony was like my eccentric uncle. Natasha was like my fun loving sister. Bruce was like a father figure. Thor was like my knowledgeable older brother. That was a night I would never forget.
