The next week was amazing. I got to settle into a routine. A usual day started of with me eating a light breakfast that Tony had cooked. I ate something different almost every morning. Tony was determined to make sure I tasted all the different foods earth had to offer. Then I would train with Clint and Natasha with my katanas for a couple hours. It was intriguing to learn new sword fighting styles. These training sessions often had a fair amount of joking around. Clint and Natasha were so much fun to be around. They both had a hidden funny side that they didn't show much around others. After I was done training with Clint and Natasha Steve would take me somewhere to eat some lunch. Like Tony Steve was determined to help me experience as big a variety of food as possible. Once Steve and I got back from lunch we headed to the gym and trained. Steve helped me learn to control my enhanced strength and speed because I had gotten rusty over the past five years. Then the Avengers and I would gather together in the common area and eat dinner. Dinner was usually selected by whoever got to the common area first. If multiple people arrived at the same time things got interesting. It was funny to see the Avengers fight over dinner like children. Over dinner we all shared stories. Well at first it was mostly the Avengers talking. Then as I got to know the Avengers I started opening up and sharing some stories of my own.

Any spare time I had I spent trying to learn as much as I possibly could about Earth. I read every bit of information I could get my hands on, which thanks to Tony was quite a lot. The way I saw it the more I knew about Earth the better I could fit in here. The better I fit in the harder it would be for the Calonians to find me. Speaking of which I should probably ask Tony to set me up an undercover identity later today.

Anyways everyday was pretty much the same. Get up, eat breakfast, train, eat lunch, train again, eat dinner, and then learn. Pretty much that exact same schedule on repeat. Well not always the same. The one exception was one day when Clint asked me when my birthday was. I didn't know why he needed this information, but I told him anyways. I trusted that Clint had a good reason for wanting to know. Other than that thew week went by pretty smoothly and regularly.

A stinging sensation snapped me out of my day dream. I recoiled from the strong right hook Steve had delivered to my jaw. The force behind the blow sent me backwards a step. Steve immediately looked apologetic.

Steve said, "I am so sorry Alex."

I said, "No worries. I was just daydreaming."

Steve said, "About what?"

I shrugged and said, "Nothing important."

Steve said, "If you say so. So how about we call it a day?"

I said, "Sounds good to me."

I unwrapped the wrap from my hands. Steve had taught me how to wrap my hands like a boxer did. It helped cut down on the swelling in case I hit the punching bad wrong or too hard and hurt myself.

I left the gym and headed into the locker area. I changed back into . Once I was changed I headed out of the locker room and went to the common area with Steve.

A stack of pizzas were on the coffee table with a stack of paper plates right next to the pizzas. They smelled absolutely delicious. My mouth watered at the smell. Training with Steve always left me really hungry. I walked over and sat at one of the four couches that surrounded the coffee table. Steve sat down on the couch next to me. Tony and Bruce sat on the couch to my left. Thor sat on the couch to my right. Apparently Clint and Natasha were still busy.

I said, "So can I eat or do I have to wait?"

Tony said, "Go on ahead pipsqueak. I am sure they won't mind. Tweety Bird probably just wanted some extra target practice."

Not needing any more persuasion I reached over grabbed a paper plate. Then I opened the pizza box on the top of the stack and grabbed two pieces of the pepperoni pizza my favorite. For some reason the others waited for me to grab some pizza before helping themselves. Usually it was a free for all whenever pizza in particular was concerned. The rest of the Avengers dug in and helped themselves, By the time I was finished I had eaten two whole pizzas. Man I had really been hungry. After I finished eating I relaxed back onto the couch patting my full stomach.

I said, "That was delicious."

Bruce said, "Of course it is. It is from the finest pizza place in all of New York, Di Fara Pizza."

I busted out laughing.

Bruce looked confused and said, "What's so funny?"

I said, "I thought you said Di Farta."

This caused everyone in the room, even Steve to start laughing. It took a few minutes for everybody to calm down. I'll admit I was the last one to stop laughing. Once you got to know me let's just say I have an interesting sense of humor. I am not without my quirks after all.

Once I was finished laughing I got up off the couch. I headed to my room. Man it still felt weird to think of that. I had spent the past five years in a Hydra cell and the year before that on the run sleeping wherever I could. It was nice to have a comfortable and secure place to sleep. I walked into my room and turned on the light. Once I had changed into pajamas I got into bed. I was out cold before my head hit the pillow.
