Mercedes POV
The next day
I laid around until about 5:30. Today was Riya's dance class. I felt pretty cool because I helped her with it. I quickly hopped in the shower taking care of my hygiene, when I got out, I slipped on a pair of black harem pants, a a black fitted t shirt, my white converse, a little mascara, and since my hair was damp I just threw it up in a messy bun.

" Hey y'all, I'm Riya as many of you may know, today I'll be teaching you some choreography to ' like a boy ' by Ciara. Now..... " she giggled " I didn't do this dance on my own, I had some help from Mercedes "
She pointed to me and their was a wave of applause. I couldn't help but smile.
" you know what " Riya ran over to me grabbing my wrist and pulling me to the front where she was " your gonna help me teach the class"
" nooooooooooo " I said turning red
I heard lots of " yes" and " c'mon Mercedes " I decided to just help teach the dance.
Lucas POV
Me, Zay, Meech and Lo decided to hit up the mall.
" bruh their better be some girls" Zay said
" you always looking for some punani " Meech said
I laughed, smh. The niggas were dumb. They kept going on and on how they never gon get married and how they don't want kids etc. I don't even know how we got to that conversation. Soon we reached the mall, we walked around looking at different stores, stopping a couple girls here and there, also getting stopped by a couple people who wanted to take pictures.
" so Meech who is that girl you always with?" I asked
He smirked " See that's bae right there "
" Name?" Zay asked
" Her name is Moni, I met her when we went to that party, and we haven't stopped talking ever since "
" Awww look at young Meech, all sprung and what not " Lo joked
" Nigga shut up at least I talk to someone " Meech shot back
" Trynna gang up on me cause I'm Darkskin? " Lo gave a straight face
" Nigga no "
" why you lying? "
" I didn't lie " Meech paused " I just verbally stated fiction, witcha Darkskin ass "
We all busted out in laughter.
Dario POV
Instead of being with the guys at the mall, I was spending the day with Laurel, because I knew she would be leaving soon. This is a reason why I didn't wanna get attached to her. I still don't fully know why I like her.
" So how do you feel about leaving?" I asked biting into my sandwich
" pretty sad, I didn't think I would like it here, but I do. Detroit kinda grew on Me" she giggled
" then that means your coming back right?"
She shrugged.
" what's that suppose to mean?"
" it means I don't know "
I slightly smiled. I don't know she makes me happy. I sound like a punk. Lbvs. I tackled her to the floor.
" what're you doing? "She asked in laughter
I pretended to beat her up, she just kept laughing, until I accidentally really hit her in the arm.
" Oh snap, I'm sorry La "
She smirked and pinned me to the ground. Their was a long silence. A silence when we were just staring into eachother eyes.
Laurel POV
He was just staring at me and I was staring him, but I seen a sparkle In his eye. Lust? It started getting awkward so I got up.
" well... I'm uhh, I should probably get going now " I got up and dusted myself off
" sure. I'll walk you out."
I gathered all my things. Dario walked me to the door.
" well I'll see you Friday before I leave "
" alright " he said shutting the door
" Bye?" I said to myself
Mercedes POV
We practiced the dance a few more times, then broke into smaller groups recording some of the dancers. ( Dance on the side, mind you again, Riya didn't really make the dance )

" that was fun " Riya said sipping her water
" it was " I smiled sipping my Gatorade
As we were getting our things together, I heard lots of voices coming through the doors. It was basically the whole DE squad.
There was this one girl In class today who I saw so much passion in. I noticed that she was still here but she was standing by the door, she was on her way outside until I stopped her.
" Hey. Your really good at dancing" I complimented her
" Thanks" she smiled " Tyiesha"
" Mercedes"
I seen Lo walking towards us.
" Ay Mercedes, you hungry were gonna order.... " he looked at Tyiesha " Pizza " he said slowly
She gave an uncomfortable smile " Hi "
" Wassup "
I moved my eyes between both of them then gave a smirk.
" well I'll be over there " I walked away
I still had my eyes on them, but I was also walking at the same time, so that only caused me to bump into Lucas, he caught me by my waist because I close to falling.
" Woah woah " he said still holding on to me
I quickly removed his hands. He gave me a confused look.
" what's your problem?" He asked with his eyebrows pushed together
" I don't have one"
" Yes you do"
" then why're you talking to me?" I rolled my eyes
He threw his head back with frustration, he put his hands on my hips and brought me closer. I was so memorized by his beautifully structured face that I didn't even care where his hands were.
" if you still tripping on that Nyi situation, then you trippin. I already told you that me and her are not a thing" he said
" tuhh try telling her that. Lucas she obviously thinks you guys are together "
" Well we're not " he licked his lips
And that's when I just lost it. I'm not gonna put on this big front like Lucas isn't sexy af, cause I'd be lying.
