Since I had nothing else to do and I needed to get my mind off of things I decided to FaceTime Riya. Lord knows I've missed that child like cray!
FaceTime
Riya- Cedessssssssss!!
Me- Baeeeeeeeeeeee!!
Riya- OMG where you go? You like Foreal Foreal went M.I.A
Me- I know.. Shit has just been a roller coaster
Riya- yeah, I see it all in your face... What's wrong?
Me- nah... It's nothing
Riya- TELL ME!
Me- okay okay..
I trust her, I'm positive she won't tell anything I wouldn't want to be told! I told her everything. All for her to hang up in my face. Why would she just hang up like that? Great!
5 Minuets Laterrr..
Riya called me back, I debated on weather I should answer it. Just for the fuck of it I answered.
Riya- okay what David did was beyond fucked up, and you as a really good friend to me I don't want you in that environment OR Laurel.. I just asked my mom if you guys can stay for however long needed.
Me- OHMYGAWD I love you Mariya. Like Foreal!
She smiled widely.
Riya- well I def wanna get you guys here before Dario's party, that would be like the best Surprise for him. Especially cause he got a thing for La
Me- the sooner the better! I just wanna get out this hell hole
Riya- well just ask your mom, ya know make sure. Just get her to say yes *giggle* well I'll talk to you Lata. Tell La I said what it do bae
Me- *laughs* ok, byeee
The Next Day
Moni POV
Since there was nothing else to do on this boring day Meech and I decided to go to the mall. Supposedly Lo and his new Boo are gonna meet us, I'm a bit excited to get to know the girl. Lo is like my nigga. So I gotta make sure she coo or wateva. I've seen her once, but I've never really talked to her.
Meech tightly wrapped his arms around my waist walking behind me. Even though he couldn't see I was blushing extra hard! We got a couple eye rolls and sneak dissin ass comments, etc. it wasn't all negative though. Some stopped to take pictures with Meech, and even a girl asked to take a picture with me. Out of no where I heard someone say.
" What a whore. Look what she got on!"
I shook they thought off but then it sounded like my bestfriend Kayla I didn't wanna turn around cause I didn't wanna find out the truth, but I did
anyway.
" Wow Really Kayla? Wanna speak louder?" I said walking to her
" I SAID you look like a whore! Look what your wearing"
How am I whore? I was wearing Meech's Nike Bucket hat, A Black " Welcome to Detroit " t-shirt that I cut into a crop top, star printed joggers, one black & one white Air Force 1's, and Meech's chain that he use to where when he was starting out.
"So exactly how does that make me a whore? " I asked
" Whatever you heard me"
" But you defiantly not throwing hands, all bark absolutely no bite"
She punched me in my jaw and I fell back on Meech. I regained my balance Quickly removed my hat and earrings. I threw my hair in a bun and I charged towards her and began repeatedly hitting her in the face. After A while my knuckles began to bleed and she wasn't fighting back so I grabbed Meech's hand and we ran out the mall.
Meech POV
Damn shit got real, I didn't even know how to handle that situation, should I have helped? Seems like Moni had err thang under control I wasn't Trynna catch a quick left right from her my face way to cute for that. Kyle had to give us a ride back, it was completely silent. When we finally got to my house and into my room Moni broke down crying. I pulled her closer and brought her into a hug.
" Why're you crying baby?" I asked
" She was really the only friend I had! "
I rubbed her back in a circular motion trying to calm her down. I lightly pecked her forehead. She looked up to me and deeply stared in my eyes then lightly kissed my lips. She eventually cried herself to sleep.
1 Month Later
Mercedes POV
In a month lots has happened. Me, Moni, Laurel, and Tyiesha ( Lo's Boo ) have basically joined Detroit Elevado. Moni and I have became closer were like joined at the hip that's my hitta ( 😂😂 ) and La, Riya, and Ty are like the three musketeers.
When La and I came back to Detroit, Dario seemed really happy. But then again like he was in a awkward position. Today is a girls day. Were gonna go get our hair and nails done, and maybe do a little shopping. But now we were in the Studio waiting for a ride. How do we plan stuff but don't got a ride? Smh.
" So you just gon leave me?" I overheard Meech say to Moni
" Were just going to chill "
" suuure "
I could no longer contain my laughter. I was turning red. It's cute to see Meechie getting all soft and what not.
Lucas POV
" you lost " Zay said " Now pay up "
" Shut up, I ain't wanna do that dumb damn bet anyway" I handed him is money
" don't hate the playa hate the game " he laughed
Mercedes POV
We had finally made it to the nail salon. I was sitting next to Moni. We were letting our feet soaked May I remind you this felt good as ever!
" so how's life back at home?" She asked
" it's sucks! My mom has this boyfriend and he just ugh! "
" My mom had one of those boyfriends, he was the bottom of the barrel his name was David and I hated him! He use to beat my mama, and he damn near tried to rape me"
" David? "
She nodded I began to describe him and her David matched my David.
" You know him?" She asked
I ignored her question and quickly called my mom.
Me- MOM IS DAVID BEATING YOU!?
