Me and Moni were at her house chillen. Her mom wasn't here but a real nigga need to know when she coming cause I can't get caught lackin.
" sooooooooo when ya mama coming back? " I asked
She laughed " chill, she won't be back for a while " she wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed my lips
I proceeded and put my arms around her waist.
" so what do you wanna do?" She asked
I shrugged my shoulders.
" let's chill with Cedes?" She smiled widely
" why so y'all can run ya mouth and I sit quietly.. No" I straight faced her
" invite Lo"
" nah, dat nigga with Tyiesha"
" aww are you jealous" she pinched my cheeks
I swatted her hands aways " no"
Moni POV
I began to call Mercedes, it rang about 5 times.
??- Hello?
Me- Lucas? Hol' up... Lucas....? Why you got Mercedes phone?
I checked my phone to make sure I called the right person
Me- yeah why you got her phone? lil thieving ass, best believe I'm--
Lucas- shush! I didn't steal her phone, big head ass. We at the park.
Me- what y'all doing at the park?
Lucas- what do you want?
Me- chill, cause I won't hesitate to rearrange your face.. Anyways come to my house. And bring Cedes!
Lucas * smacks lips * what I look like leaving her?
Me- shut up.
I hung up the phone and plopped on the couch.
" That was Lucas?" Meech asked
" Yeah "
" I thought you called Mercedes "
" I did, but he got her phone, they at the park "
" ohhhhhhhhhhhhh "
Lo POV
" what do you want to do next? " I asked Tyiesha
" nothing" She pouted
I laughed " aww is someone mad because they keep losing?"
She rolled her eyes and playfully smacked my arm " no"
I brought Ty to TU Island ( made up place, lmfao it's suppose to be a arcade place with like games and stuff I couldn't come up with anything better 😂)
" C'mon " I grabbed her hand and guided her outside
We walked to this field where I use to go when I was mad or upset, it was kinda like my little secret hide out. Niggas would never know where this Darkskin was.
" what is this?" Ty asked
I sat down in the grass and she sat next to me.
" I use to come here all the time when I was younger, it was my get away... But now it can be our get away "
She shyly smiled and hid her face in her hands.
Lucas POV
" c'mon, you can't just sit here and cry.. Get up " I said to Benze
She shook her head no.
" Moni want you to come to her house "
Once again she shook her head no.
" baby, c'mon, please do this for me, I know your worried about your mom and nobody's answering your phone calls but you can't do this to yourself, it's not healthy"
She slowly looked up to me. Her eyes were red and puffy. She did cry like almost a damn river. She began to get up off the swing, I grabbed her hand and intertwined our fingers. She's not my girlfriend but I don't mind being here for her.

"No.. Stay with me.. Please?" She said lowly
I half smiled and nodded my head "sure". I knocked on the door and waited for Samya to get the answer.
" Cedesssssss! " the door flung open " oh my gosh, have you been crying!? Lucas what did you do!" She smacked my arm
I smacked my lips " I ain't do nothing"
We went in the house, I dapped up Meech and sat next to him on the couch in exhaustion. The girls went upstairs.
" so are y'all like dating or nah my nigga" Meech said
" Nah, not yet" I smirked
" what about Nyi?"
" what about Nyi? That's not my girl " I chuckled
" Truuuuuueee " Meech laughed " man I'm hungry!"
"What y'all do today?"
" not a damn thing"
I chuckled
" shut up you da one had to babysit Mercedes"
" Nigga " I straight faced him cause I was serious " I was not babysitting her, I was being there for her"

" Let's go to b dubs?" Meech said
His mouth looked like it was watering already.
" and leave Mercedes and Moni"

I laughed " that was a dumb question "
" very " Meech said
" didn't nobody ask you to throw yo 2 cents in when you know you broke" I responded
" you don't want these hands though"
" boy bye, cause we can get a quick round in, but first let me wrap my weave up cause this ain't that cheap stuff. This was EXPENSIVE booboo " I said in a ghetto girl voice
We shared a laughter together, we caught our breaths when we seen Moni and Benze coming downstairs.
" aye y'all Trynna to to b dubs?" Meech asked
They both looked at eachother and said " Sure "
Laurel POV
I stayed at Darius' house and had dinner with him and some of his family.
" so Laurel, what school do you go to? " Dario's mom asked
" well actually I don't live here in Detroit, I like in Georgia, but I went to Illinois with my sister for the summer and then we came here, I know that didn't answer your question but " I shrugged " yeah"
" you seem nervous " she giggled
I sighed " I am "
" it's okay honey, no need to be nervous " she look at Dario then back at me " so are you two like a thing? Dating?" She smiled
" MOM!!" Dario interrupted
I giggled " no we're just really good friends" I smiled at him he slightly smiled back
" I wish we weren't " he mumbled but obviously not low enough because I heard him
If he didn't wanna be my friend he could've just told me!
" can I be excused " I said getting up from the table
" go ahead " she said
