MY POV

"Look there she is with Amy and Andrea. Whoa, that's a lot of fish." Carl says looking at the fish that Andrea, Amy, and Heather have caught.

"Look's like we'll be eatting tonight," I say smiling. I'm exited because we only eat once a day and it's usually a small plate of beans or we don't eat at all.

"Oh, baby. Will you look at that? Hey, check it out," Morales laughs. "Ladies..." he says while Lori claps her hands. She has the biggest shocked face I've ever seen. "...because of you my children will eat tonight. Thank you."

"Thank Dale. It's his canoe and gear." Andrea says while Heather and Amy smile with Andrea. Jacqui gives Andrea and Heather a high five. The three of them drink water, but don't stop smiling.

"Mom, look. Look at all the fish." Carl says getting up to look at them. I stay where I am because I don't like being by fish unless I'm eatting it. Morales puts the fish in Lori's face, but she backs away and smiles.

     "Thank you," she laughs.

"Whoa," Carl says again like he's never seen fish in his life. It's kind of funny.

"Yeah, whoa. Where did you three learn to do that?" Lori asks.

"Our dad," Amy starts pointing at herself and Andrea. "But Heather just learned from us."

"Can you teach me how to do that?" Carl asks still looking at the fish.

"Sure, I'll teach you all about nail knots and stuff." She turns to Lori and says, "If that's okay."

     "You won't catch me arguing."

"I'll teach you all of you if you want." She says looking at all of us kids.

"Yeah, thats something we might need to know. Although I don't like dealing with dead fish." I say smiling and everyone laughs a little. The other kids nod there heads and then I see Dale come from behind his RV.

"Hey, Dale, when's the last time you oiled those line reels? They are a disgrace." Andrea asks Dale. Morales holds the two lines of fish in his hands smiling. There looks to be maybe twenty or thirty fish in total. Dale just keeps walking to us with a wierd face.

"I, uh--I don't want to alarm anyone," this gets Shanes attention, so he gets up and walks over to Dale, "but we may have a bit of a problem." He turns around and points to a hill. On the hill is Jim digging a hole or holes. I'm not sure. So we all start walking up the hill to check on him.

We eventually get up there and Shane watches him for a minute. Jim acts like we're not even there and he keeps on digging. It looks to be like he is on his tenth hole. "Hey, Jim. Jim why don't you hold, up alright? Just give me a second here, please." Shane finally says breaking the silence.

"What do you want?" Jim says taking a deep breath and sticking his shovel in the ground.

"We're all just a little concerned, man. That's all."

"Dale says you've been out here for hours," Morales says. Everyone looks very worried because he looks like he might pass out.

"So?" Jim looks at Dale with a 'You Snitch' face.

"So why are you digging? Are you heading to China, Jim?" Shane asks. What a smartass, but to be honest it's kind of funny. I laugh a little but stop because I don't want anyone to see me.
