"bonabelle!" marceline called from the door. she smiled grinning at the palace. before long, she heard the princess rushing down the stairs. bubblegum adjusted her hat and opened the door. before she could say anything, marceline fell on top of her; hugging her tightly and gently kissing her neck. bubblegum laughed as she wrapped her arms around her.
"happy halloween!" bubblegum chuckled.
"happy halloween, bonnie." marceline said as she buried her head in her hair.
"ready to go?" bonabelle asked her.
"yeah." she said, getting up and taking her hand. "you look beautiful." bubblegum got up and gently kissed her on the cheek.
"i love you, marcy."
"i love you too." bubblegum swiftly grabbed the pumpkin basket as they hurried out the door.
"where do you plan on taking me?" bubblegum asked as they walked out of the palace.
"we'll get there when we'll get there." she responded with a smile, taking her girlfriend's hand and affectionally biting it.
"hey!" bubblegum laughed. marceline scooped the princess up in her arms and kissed her. today was their first halloween together, and it was safe to say, it was going to be a good one.
