chapter seven the great devourer

when the ninja got back they told me they were battling the serpentine.

I was angry that they hadn't told me until now. 

"What the hell you guys!? seriously you could've given me back to them." 

I yelled.

"Well at lest we got the fang blades. and pythor didn't look to worried about you. and we didn't bring you up because we were fighting him."

Said nya.    

"Yeah now pythor can't unleash the great devourer "

Jay added. 

"Yes thats great. but can I go back to the serpentine now?"

"NO!"

They all said in unison.

"What why not?"

I said 

"Well you see avreall if pythors busy looking for you he'll be too distracted to free the great devourer "  

zane said slowly 

I went to my room and sat down on my makeshift bed and thought of my forge." I wonder if anyone knows I'm gone.. heck I bet that nobody  in the lava mountains has even noticed i'm  gone!   I go missing when I'm  looking for new metals to make weapons  all the time!.. but king char has spies all over the lava mountains maybe one of them saw those poachers take me... but it doesn't matter I have pythor and his son to be my new family "

I herd someone coming that shook me out of my thoughts then something wrapped around me then it showed itself it was pythor! 

"Avreall my dear what are you doing here? I was worried sick! and python kept crying because you weren't there!"

pythor said 

"I got caught by the ninja and apparently  you betrayed a child"

I countered 

"Well my dear I have some fang blades to steal. but for now do you mind if I stay here?"

"No I don't mind"

I said

pythor wrapped his tail around me again and hugged me to his chest.

"Night pythor "

"Good night avreall "

( time skip )

the next morning I saw the ninja going to the deck to destroy  the fang blades 

pythor  its now or never.  oh jeez  I really hope that you get here fast before the fang blades get destroyed . oh thank goodness there he is  I  saw pythor on the edge of the ship grabbing the fang blades 

"Sorry everyone but I've got to go "

I said haughtily 

I galloped  to where're pythor was  and jumped with him. we landed on a rattlecopter. then  I saw a tour bus 

" hey scales why are we headed toward a tour bus?"

I asked 

the two of them laughed at my confusion  

" You see My dear avreall  were going to hijack the bus to get to oraborus to unleash the great devourer "

Pythor said. the rattlecopter  was close to the ground now so I jumped from it beside the tour bus right in front of a window with a child and who I assume  was his mother and father. the child saw me and was now trying to tell his parents about me so stuck my head closer to the window and barred my fangs at them playfully. the mother shrieked at me from inside I could hear the child saying: "See mommy dragon horse "

 I   laughed  at the family it was so funny what child called me "dragon horse "  oh my god  thats hilarious!!  I got inside the bus and scared the people out of it  then I sat in one of the seats. I saw some fangpyre go up on the roof weirdly enough the bus turned into a snake! 

"Whoa what the heck ?! why is the bus a snake?!?!"   

I asked 

"Thats what fangpyres do silly girl. they can turn anything into a snake with there bite"

Said a venomari 

"Oh"

I said. then I saw a ninja on the widow 

" king chars tail!!!"

I yelped 

time skip

I galloped to the drivers car were pythor was. when I got there pythor was trying to swallow sensei wu!

I saw his unhinged jaws it was  a horrid sight 

"Pythor STOP!!!!!!!"

I screamed at him 

"Avreall my dear what are you doing?"

he said   

"What am I doing?! pythor what the hell are YOU doing? why are you trying to eat sensei wu!? and right infront of python!"

I was right. python asleep in one of his arms. he looked down at his baby and kissed his sons forehead.     

"Now avreal-owww!!!! "

pythor yelled  sensei wu had stoped on his tail to get away.

time skip 

what I saw horrified me. pythor had unleashed  the great devourer.  pythor looked..  insane I had just realized it. after so many years of knowing him I had just noticed that insane look in his eyes I picked up python and looked at him. he looked scared. I  hugged him to my chest. 

"Hey buddy its gonna be ok"

I said. 

I trotted away from my insane friend. the only thing I cared about right now was getting python and myself  away from pythor. I could hear him panicking and about something but I didn't care. 

the other eggs were back at the serpantine hideout. then I herd a noise that made me turn around. it was pythors scream then I realized that the great devourer  had swallowed him whole.!

I sat down and started sobbing uncontrollably my best friend is dead.  but at least I have python. 

I saw the destiny,s bountys anchor and I jumped onto it with python still in my arms.
