So a few days ago I was asked out over text by this guy named Marcus... I told him that he needs to ask me out in person. He asked me out last Friday, so he said he would ask me in person on Monday.
When Monday came around, I pretty much waited the whole day to be asked out. I was planning scenarios in my head of how he would ask me and what I would say back. In the last period of the day, my friend went up to him and said, "so, have you asked her yet?!" He responded by saying, "nope, I'm not gonna ask her anymore, I've met a different girl yesterday".
When I got home, I revived a text message from Marcus saying "sorry I didn't ask you out. I met an other girl yesterday". I was thinking to myself that's bull shit! I didn't really like him, but still, I was angry he would do something like that. Wouldn't you be pissed if someone did that to you?! I responded to his message by cussing at him and pretending I didn't care. I ended the convo by saying, "why are you still talking to me?!" He didn't respond so I hoped he felt guilty as hell.
This is one of the reasons why love is like a box of chocolates, people can change just like that. You think you know someone really well and they turn out to be completely different. At least I have one friend that will stick up for me no matter what.
