The car ride to the theatre was really....uh... Interesting. It was filled with awkward eye contact between Josh and I and old music from the Beatles and Kiss. His mom tried to make some conversation in the beginning, but then just gave up.
His mom is probably one of the most annoying people I've ever met. She was too peppy and the Minnesota accent did not help at all. She also drives like my dead grandma. Swerving all around and hitting the curves... I guess I could add this part of the date to my "bad dates" list.
We finally reached the theatre and I jumped out of the car as soon as it stopped. Josh caught up to me scratching the back of his neck, "uhhh... Sorry 'bout my mom... I don't really have my license yet."
"Ha you're fine Josh. At least she's not going to be here for the movie."
It's a good thing guys think I'm funny or else this could've been even more awkward.
We couldn't really find a movie that looked good to watch so we just settled on a 'pg' movie; a "hd" version of "Snow White"
We sat down in the back row of the theatre with a tub of popcorn. Ha I'm the type of person who doesn't care if boys see them pig out. Like come on! Who doesn't love movie theatre popcorn!
As the movie starts to rap up, Josh slips his hand into mine. Oh god I hope there isn't a lot of butter grease on my fingers. Before I knew it, he was leaning in to kiss me right when the prince was kissing a "dead" Snow White.
Hehe I guess he's more romantic than I thought he was. And damn he's a great kisser. After the kiss, before pulling away he whispers in my ear "I love you"
We walked out holding hands and jumped into a car where his dad picked us up. I'm so glad it wasn't his... Weird... Mom.
<<< Hey guys! How'd you like the first chapters? *I do not mean to offend anyone from Minnesota during this chapter.* how long do you think this relationship will last? Who's a fan of David?
