My room was cold and dark, the only colours were the paintings on the walls. Above my bed, a portrait of my family stood together ready to do Battle, except now we were one down. I was one down. I couldn't stop thinking about it, as much as I hated to admit it. When I first met him he was just a boy, trying to prove himself a man, yet now he was so much more.
This was it, I could feel it. This was where it began to crumble down. Before there were cracks, but now there was a chunk missing, and yet I couldn't stop thinking about it, about him. Why didn't he tell me earlier? Before I just assumed it was a childish crush, but now it was something more. He loved me, and deep down I knew that I'd always loved him, a damn Loth-Rat.
No, a damn Jedi. Suddenly, the door sprung open, and Kanan stood in the doorway with a grave expression on his face. "Sabine, we need to talk.""So your telling me that you've felt some sort of awakening in the dark side, and that Ezra has something to do with it?"
"I'm not saying... I'm suggesting. After what you told me and the others last night about what he was doing... there's no other logical explanation." No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't believe that Ezra could've fallen to the dark side so quickly after leaving.
"Uh, Vader? Palpatine? Another Inquisitor? They're all dark siders, right?"
"This was different, Sabine. The Force surrounds all living beings, we all have it, including you, but this... this was more than just the Force. This was raw power. Like someone had switched on a power generator in the middle of the Galaxy."
I got up from my bed and moved to the middle of the room, then turned back to Kanan who was sitting on the side of my bed.
"Kanan, I'm sorry, but I just can't believe that this has something to do with Ezra." Tears began to prick at the sides of my eyes, and Kanan stood up from the bed. "Sabine... wait a minute, he did something to you before he left, didn't he?"
Guilt began to burn in my chest, and my neck turned red hot. "Kanan... he kissed me." Kanan's mouth was left half open, and he took off the mask that covered his eyes, revealing the white, colourless iris's beneath. "Im sorry Kanan, I'm so, so sorry."
I dug my head into his shoulder as he wrapped his arms around me. "Don't be, Sabine." He hesitated before speaking again. "Love is a powerful weapon, especially when used the right way." After a few seconds of standing still in Kanan's arms crying into his shoulder, he made a small grunt. I pulled away to see what was wrong, but Kanan looked like he was in pain
"Aaah!" He clutched his head and fell to his knees. "Ezra! Ezra, no! Don't do it!" My eyes widened, a Force vision, but normally they weren't painful. Hera and Zeb appeared in my the doorway, Hera went straight over to Kanan, while Zeb stayed next to me. "What happened?" He asked. "I... I don't know." We moved Kanan to the Medical Bay. He had passed out, but was still sweating.
Hera stayed by his side, holding his hand tightly. "She grips that hand any tighter and she'll break it," Zeb said, cutting me out from my daydream. "I hope he's gonna be ok."
"He's a Jedi, he'll be fine. He just needs to go meditate for a few hours." I stifled a small laugh, but it didn't last long."Please, Ezra. Come home."
I stood next to the carvings on the wall, each one of a different person. Nyla floated next to me, explaining who all of them were. "My lightsaber was stolen from me, by my six Sith Apprentices."
"Six... there can only ever be two." Nyla narrowed her eyes, but soon realised what I was talking about. "My apprentice, that rule is nothing but a restriction created by Darth Bane in order to make sure the Sith stayed within the shadows forever. There is no need for that now."
"Much has changed since you were last seen," Nyla let out a soft laugh. "Soon my apprentice, everything will be ours, you will see."
I hesitated before placing my hand on the carving on the wall, and instantly I felt the power that surged through this place. I closed my eyes and felt it course through me like lighting through my veins. Once I took my hand off of it, I removed the green Kyber Crystal that resided in my lightsaber and put it in my pocket, then I took out the red one from the Inquisitors Lightsaber and placed it in the hilt.
I igniting the blade shortly after, it's low pitched hum gave the weapon a more menacing sound, and the crimson blade shone bright in the dark throne room. "Together, we will bring order to the Galaxy, and the Rightful Sith shall rule forever."
"Yes... my Master."
